The game is pure rubbish... PGR4 owns it in every way. I can't believe the scores are that close for these two games.
be released on both consoles on the same day or is there a delay on any of the platforms?
If Sony had refused to move down on price and decided to ride through the holidays on their current hardware pricing structure, it may have been a Holiday to forget for Sony as the 360 would pull out of reach in North America... It will be an interesting holiday to see how much the 399 tag helps Sony pick up some lost momentum.
Those are REVENUES! Revenues != Profits. Sony's revenues are higher because they have 3 hardware systems... PS2, PSP, and PS3. Yep, MS lost a lot of money on the RRoD issue but Sony has also lost a ton of cash. Just wait until their next official Financial release and you'll discover the REAL truth.
The only one of the three making money is Nintendo and they are making a LOT of profit on that number...
I see you post all the time with never anything positive to say about the 360. generally it's quite nasty. Are you sure you are playing PGR4 on an XBOX 360?
From the 360 to the Wii. I generally stay with one game until I finish it and then move on. Right now I'm using the 360 because I've finished the games on the Wii that I wanted to play. There are few coming out this holiday that will move me back. Medal of Honor: Heros and Battalion Wars II will consume me.
Maybe it isn't to that many people, but I still have a decent PS2 library I want to hang on to and would like to play on the PS3 using the PS3s ability to improve (slightly) the image.
I also have too many electronic gadgets as it is plugged in behind my TV. I have no plugs left and at this point adding anything else will trigger a circuit breaker. I also don't have any more inputs on my TV. When I get a PS3, something has to go and it won't be my Satellite, Wii, 360. It su...
that the upcoming activision deal made the team take their eye off the ball a bit. There is an enormous amount of activity inside a company that is being acquired and it doesn't happen overnight. There are months of due diligence. During that process enough people get involved that office buzz starts to happen, rumors start flying, and next thing you know, people are quite distracted... I wonder how much the background "noise" caused PGR4 to go out the door "unpolished"...
And can be found for as little as 20 bucks. Two cubes... pluge one into your wireless router, place the other cube where your 360 or other electronic device is and plug a standard ethernet cable into the device. The play link takes care of security and such without any intervention. Truly plug and play... It's what I put on my 360 and it works like a charm. I refuse to pay 100 for a wireless adapter. Ripoff...
Halo 3 will have sold 5 million copies. There won't be any killing of halo 3 by any game. Period. The game is already a superstar...
No way is Sony going to add a 5th sku in as many months. At this rate, they would be better off going the dell model and let people order their PS3 direct with the features they want. Backward compatible? Y/N. Hard Drive size? Rumble? Y/N, card reader? Y/N, and so on...
The vitriol in reviews for Playstation 3 games is getting ridiculous. It may not be a great game but it just seems to me that reviewers are trying to one-up each other with one-liner put downs. For example:
"at first seemed promising, but explodes in a fiery wreck"
I don't know what else to say, but can't the reviewers refrain from such negative attacks?
That was pretty damn amusing... Someone does seem to have more spare time than me...(and patience for that matter).
If not, it's stupid. You can buy an RCA HD-DVD player at Sams right now for $229 and have been able to for a while now... $249 for a completely no-name brand is not going to move very many units. People will settle for an "Ensoniq" or some other BS when the price is ridiculously low, but not when it is at or higher than name-brand products.
That's almost 2M units a month basically starting right now. I want some of what this analyst is smoking, because it is obviously good stuff.
Has reportedly saved small kittens from drowning and the 360 version only a puppy or two. I'm a cat fan so I'm going to have to go PS3 version I think. Graphically, I really wanted to notice a difference, but to my disappointment, there isn't one. Move along fanboys... buy the one on your system of choice.
After the whole wii60 exposure indicating the site is basically a sham, the forums at SDF were filled with "you suck", "you are fake", etc. They basically were locking every other thread trying to prevent complete meltdown... I guess it didn't work because they have taken down the forums. Now they just post their "unbiased" news and reviews... Why on earth would someone spend so much time creating a parody site and continue ever after it has been exposed. Are...
When the "compilations" come out, the average gamer gets sick of the game after playing it over and over in so many variations...
Remember, Microsoft OWNS Bungie. If Bungie wants to go their seperate ways, that's fine, but they will end up having to do it with Microsoft's consent and on those terms. You can bet, at a minimum, those terms won't include Halo IP on a Sony console. If it does, I'll eat my hat, but that simply isn't going to happen. Interestingly, I don't think Sony fans really WANT the Halo series any more than Xbox fans WANT MGS4 for instance. It's more of a joy to see the competition take a hit rathe...
She's cute and has a vagina. What more does the average male need?
