As far back as I can remember, their reviews have ALWAYS said "final score is not a mathematical average" or something like that -- right below the number. You can't miss it. I always wondered why they did it that way, but people can't scream bias NOW... Where were all the complaints years ago?
The 360 is *currently* the home for the best racers. GT5:prologue will be a big step in the right direction for sure, but it isn't out yet. Tomorrow marks the release of PGR4 and Forza 2 has already proven to have some of the best in-game physics ever... For those that want to play NOW, there really isn't an option. Obviously things change over time, though...
I'll be done with gaming. As already mentioned, I'm not into online death matches. Not my thing...
Don't forget Space Hulk (EA Games)-- a genre that needs to be re-examined, The finest Madden by far at that time, NBA Jam, and Return Fire...

I've looked around and found nothing in high def and only the one older video from inside the ferrari that is terribly compressed which destroys the quality of the video. All of the other videos i've seen are replay and called "in-game". I don't doubt they are live renderings but I want to see gameplay and not replay. They are different... Lots of resources are freed in replay mode...
And it keeps my ignore list busy.

Regardless, neither of the two next gen consoles are making money at the moment and if Sony cuts their price as is widely anticipated, Microsoft will match to some degree and the amount of bloodletting will only get worse.
I'd prefer that the front of the box have only the console name (wii in this case) and the boxart on the front. I don't know if the ratings mark can be relegated to the back or not... I enjoy the various boxarts and would prefer to see them without a bunch of trash littering the front. The back and spine, of course, are fair game...
dammit, why can't we get more in-game, behind the wheel (or behind car view) gameplay video in high definition? Hook up the damn capture card and record us a high res video...
The tile says "Rumor" Xbox 360 Core to be discontinued. It further states that they are being told to pull down the signs because once these are gone, that's it. It is comparing 2007 sales only -- not historical sales. What the numbers tell us is that basically Microsoft sold about the same number of consoles from January to March as Sony did in it's launch window. Since that period of time, they have more or less run fairly close with the 360 recently outselling the PS3 due to a price cut. Nothing more, nothing less.
The 360 had a head start, Yep. The PS3 had a smokin' launch. Check. But, the 360 has been outselling the PS3 lately which is not the kind of trend the PS3 wants to see. There is good and bad on both sides, here. I guess fanboys only see what they want to see...
While that's a funny comment and made me LOL, I'm don't think the freebies are THAT responsible for the 10s... Regardless, what is this game worth do you think? 9.0? 9.5? 9.7?
Is the PSP slim profitable or is it a loss leader still? I truly don't know but if it is profitable, that's great news for Sony...

isn't going to change the following:... it has sold a bunch of copies and will sell a bunch more. It has moved some hardware. Halo 3 is now yesterday's news. Onward to bigger and better things... Mass Effect, PGR4, Lost Odyssey... and so on. You bashers need to find something else to do as this is getting old...

I played the demo (or tried to anyway). It's a massive, steaming pile of runny $hit. So exactly how could a piece of garbage like this score higher than, say, Lair for instance? I haven't played Lair... Is it that bad? Judging on this rating (6/10), playing Lair would have to give you genital herpes or something to score worse than this turd of a game...
