Knowing Tom Nook he'll deduct a stock or point everytime you use his Final Smash. And if you're in Coin Mode well, let's just you'll be lucky to make it back to 0 coins
Sure, what's several months of development time worth anyway
You're buying a X1 at the price of a PS4 and are getting Titanfall at a $20 discount. X1 sacrifices some power for the inclusion of Kinect.
Saving $120 + tax is a good deal. It's what the cost of the X1 should be really.
O.R. just got $2 Billion dollars to fund research, design, usability, marketing. VR will explode onto the entertainment scene in the next 5 years, within 10 VR will be the standard. "Selling out" does have its benefits. Sure you alienate most of the original supporters, but if you potential gain multiples of that number in the hundreds then the trade-off
Sorry to the original investors who feel betrayed. In the end business is business and it's Kickstarter's...
Iwata even said last year "laying off employees is not the solution".
The past few months Nintendo has done nothing but position for strength, whether it's more company buildings, increased marketing venues, or stock buybacks.
2014 will be a new year, and so will 2015 and so forth
Most games allow you to play it just on the Gamepad, the off-screen feature. As long as you have a way to power the WiiU the gamepad acts as a TV screen.
ZombiU wouldn't work since you have to use the gamepad and a TV, but you can easily pay something like Mario or Donkey Kong on the road or in planes/trains.
Just need a power source
It sounds like they didn't adopt the WiiU version until after the others. To expect at least an extra 5 months to learn the hardware and gamepad seems like a stretch, it's not like the WiiU team had to work of developing story elements or game structure
This is all just speculation, but when the game was delayed by 6-7 months already to add abnother 5 seems excessive if we assume the WiiU version started at the same time.
I guess all I can hope f...
What about the 4th state of matter, Plasma?
A Snake based on Plasma would have to do with energy, though I doubt we will see Snake the Lightning Man. \
Then again, they could have an android Snake who has the power to control mechanical objects directly, the story being he was created to become the ultimate Metal Gear or something.
There was a particular area in Halo 4 were I thought if I could get a Metroid Prime that looked this good I would probably die (it was one of the later missions where you were inside a complex)
And to think I could buy a Metroid game at 1080p, 60 FPS, and graphics better than Halo 4 blows my mind.
Can't wait
Probably slightly higher quality, not just made of cheap plastic, maybe a grip here or there
The wheel is pointless really, something for people to the feel like they're driving a kart. My guess is casual gobbled up the over priced ring of plastic for Wii, and now it's back
Iwata said they were going to show-off NFC games (NFC allows you to scan physical objects btw) at E3, so the rumor isn't far off at all.
My guess is Nintendo is there to show off and maybe entice some business to use their licenses and technology (WiiU is the only console to have direct NFC built in.) Nintendo very rarely visits convention and show events, so this is big news either way.
Titanfall isn't exclusive to X1 so I don't believe it will have the impact many expect (certainly not the potential of something like Mario Kart 8 on WiiU).
Not that it won't be influential, but there are a lot of 360's and PC's already in place
Correction: Xbox One with Kinect at $400 would be much better.
This generation is being seperated by price and marketing/game library, depending on who you look at. Sony found the sweet spot
Whenever I look in my local Target I always see PS4's, X1's, and WiiU's just waiting to be bought. The WiiU's and X1's aren't surprising, but finding PS4's in the middle of the week feels strange.
I'd buy one but no games interest me enough.
If the Xbox cost $400 and if Nintendo had a good marketing campaign and twice as many great games this generation would be a completely different story
That's like a 2 year old saying "you know what, I think this year will be better than the last"
Not much to compare it to
Chronicles looked amazing despite being on inferior specs. Also it looks like they are increasing the emphasis of auto attacks, which I like (before you just spammed spells for your main damage). Also I hope guns don't override blades too much, my guess is guns are simpler but have range where swords have the more interesting spells.
My other wishes are Mechs with swords and they keep the fantasy aspect of the original
I guess selling a buggy, unplayable mess known as BF4 for millions wasn't enough
10 years ago microtransactions were known as cheat codes, were free, and found on the internet and made the game better since some weren't for power but just fun. They were never pressed on us, just tucked away like little Easter Eggs
Why do they even bother with memory cards? My DS never had to be concerned with that crap, just switch out the game and it was good to go. Machines like iPhones and 3DS don't have memory cards, why would the Vita? Do they think people will leave their Vita's behind when they visit other people, I mean what else would warrant the need for memory cards? Apparently Sony can't afford to have reasonable internal memory for Vita.
For all it's high tech features it...
