The game came out there on September 26th so it's only a few days of sales too. I guess we'll see after this week when it arrives in retail in other regions. As mentioned this does not take into account digital sales.

Rayman Legends is fantastic and the Wii U version keeps getting great reviews. I have it and AC3 with AC4 pre-ordered. I hope as Wii U sales go up this fall good quality game sales including Ubisoft do as well - provided they are good quality without glitches or missing features. If Ubi wants us to buy they've got to give us better products!

Developers want to see more units sold. Casual gamers and families like Nintendo. Target them, sales go up and games will come. As with Wii it's often a 2nd system in homes so if 1st party games are there so will buyers. We will see more 'mature' games as time goes on as they show unique gameplay of Wii U on multiplatform games.

I've had it since day one too and love it. They should have done it last year but at that point they didn't have the games to back it up. They're getting better all the time and now they're are family friendly games coming that they will be targeting with this campaign.

3rd party? Keep on dreaming.

They did offer it at ebgames in Canada but I'm sure by now it's sold out too.

It's very true that e-shop makes sense so you buy the games you play - in my case bowling, tennis and golf - that can be enjoyed by lots of people. I'll have games to play with my young nieces and nephews again. Maybe Nintendo will release Wii U's in 2014 or beyond that come with download codes for some or all of these sports to get casual buyers again. In any case, I'm happy I won't have to hide the Wii U from small kids after November!

Plus the way ...

It's true there were complaints nothing was out now it's coming very quickly as we head up to Christmas and games are going to come out in quick succession. The other thing that people need to keep in mind is that kids are very influential when it comes to sales at Christmas and Nintendo, like it or not, does cater to them - kids of all ages really - and this year is no exception. Last year at Christmas the Wii U sold most of what's out there now and this year won't be much ...

I'm sure with the price cut in 9 days, Zelda WW HD download in 9 days in North America and a few weeks after everywhere else for the retail version plus a ton of games coming very quickly now the Wii U is going to sell starting with The Wonderful 101 on the 15th in North America. Plus the games keep coming into 2014. There are many titles we've been told are coming like Yoshi, X, SSB, Mario Kart, Bayonetta plus others that don't have firm release dates yet. Many of them are hig...

You are right there are only so many months left in 2013 and they show a bunch of games without the ones you mention. Keep in mind too that Rayman Legends - which is getting fantastic reviews - is exclusive to Wii u in Japan. I think it comes out there in October so that will certainly help things along as will Wind Waker HD on the 26th.

Exactly! Get them in on the system now, help them along if they need it, offer advice or whatever and you'll have developers loyal to Nintendo for years to come.

Keep dreaming that will ever happen. Nintendo will not be publishing games for any other systems than their own.

Yes, could have been multiplatform but everyone - Sega, Microsoft and Sony - passed. Complain to them. Nintendo saw an opportunity and now Wii U owners will get what looks to be a fantastic game!

Firstly, why are you reading about a Wii U game? You clearly will not be getting one which is your loss. In the meantime we'll be enjoying Bayonetta 2 next year thanks to Nintendo. Keep dreaming that this will come to PS4 - no amount of money will get Nintendo to publish it for PS4/Xbone. Sony & MS passed on it so you can send your complaints to them.

Looks fantastic but I can't wait to see for myself how good it is on Wii U. Seeing videos taken of gameplay at events don't cut it. Very excited for this exclusive though and I never played the first one!!

If W101 continues to get good reviews it might see sales go up as new units are purchased with the price drop, Zelda bundle and other games coming into fall. I guess we'll find out soon enough if Nintendo and Platinum have something happening before Bayonetta comes out in 2014.

I suppose it's perfectly fine when old Xbox/PS games are redone to HD but if Nintendo does it's just an 'old game with old hardware'? Yes, it's 1 year old hardware. Since you played it already nobody's saying you have to again. Some never have and will give it a try; others love Zelda and this game is going to sell units as everyone waits for the new Zelda in 2014 or whenever that comes. As new units are sold it could help games that came out recently like W101, Pik...

Hopefully Europe and North America sales are better when it comes out soon but yes that could be a possibility. Trouble is it's coming out now when there are lots of things coming. Had it been out sooner it might have done better. Rayman is getting fantastic reviews and Wind Waker HD comes out in a few weeks in North America.

After recently saying he wants to be a 2nd party Nintendo developer could this tweet be his way of getting Nintendo to step up and do something? Basically saying if they don't he'll develop for other systems instead as next-gen continues with PS4/Xbox One.

Since this is a complete ripoff of the Wii U gamepad I'm sure all the money raised by people who think it will ever be released will go to pay for the lawyers when Nintendo sues them for patent infringement.

If you really want an item like this buy a Wii U and enjoy the real model on the system the gamepad was designed for.
