Vita version all the way.
I love me a good RPG on a handheld. Final Fantasy X on Vita, Dragon Quest VII and DQM Terry's Wonderland on 3DS (the latter just got an English fan translation release), Chrono Trigger on DS, Persona 4 Golden on Vita, Fire Emblem Awakening and Fates on 3DS...
Not to say I don't enjoy them on consoles too- playing Lost Odyssey right now through X1 BC and it's glorious, but I really love RPG's on handhelds.
Man when are they gonna announce the localization for this...
I LOVE Valkyria Chronicles. Even got the second on Vita by having to purchase on my brothers PS3 and run in with a USB.

I'm thinking certain types of games are going to lend themselves better to VR. Like DriveClub. No need to track motion or use wands or experience that jitter... you could set up a wheel and it'd be some serious game time.
They're trying all different kinds of games, cause some of em sound cool in theory, but in practice, it's gonna be games like racers, mech piloting (like we see in RIGs), flying games including space (Ace Combat and Eve Valkyrie).

But people. You never loved Final Fantasy. What you loved was Sakaguchi games. Not to say there aren't a few good Final Fantasy games still (World of Final Fantasy looks pretty good tbh), but it's never reached the heights of the classics. And we all know this.

This game is the best JRPG I've played in my entire life. Never owned an Xbox console before, but once I got an X1 and they announced BC, I rushed out and bought this game in anticipation of it being added to the list. That was eight months ago, give or take, and it just paid off.

Heck ya, I love Dragon Quest. First, Dragon Quest VII released on 3DS a few weeks ago, then 24 hours ago the fan translation for Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D released on 3DS. Now Dragon Quest Builders is releasing on PS4 and Vita, then Dragon Quest VIII will release early next year on 3DS, and then the motherlode- Dragon Quest XI, drops on PS4, NX and 3DS.
What a time to be a Dragon Quest fan :)
