This is being SO overblown.
I got my unit and expected to be utterly sick after all these horror stories. Turns out, no. I got a little dizzy with games like DriveClub and Scavengers Odyssey the first day, and the second day it was gone.
Now I'm playing Eve Valkyrie, Battlezone, RIGS, DriveClub, Super Stardust Ultra VR mode, etc without a hitch.
Just takes a day to get your VR sea legs. Even my brother commented tonight, "wow, ...
It's an awesome game. But it didn't really feel like a "rhythm game". More like a "skilled reaction" game.
First of all, this is awesome. I have my vWii mode modded and play GameCube in HD widescreen with a Wii U Pro controller. Can't wait for full kernal access!
Secondly, I own all games I play. I don't steal. And others have no justification for stealing. Support the developers people.
Thirdly, Wii U was a pretty dang good system given its commercial failure. There's a pretty decent library of exclusive games. It may have lacked in quantity but...
All people talk about are the "bad graphics". That's all VR games, not just DriveClub. It requires a lot more horsepower. We won't be seeing VR that looks like native PS4/X1 games probably until next generation. Though hopefully PSpro and Scorpio can help.
I thought the game was one of the better looking ones tbh.
I had no expectations going in, and I was absolutely blown away by virtual reality when my unit arrived.
I think I can safely say that anyone trashing VR does so from ignorance and lack of experience firsthand.

Didn't really appeal to me normally but just seeing the world in VR in that demo disc, really piqued my interest.
Maybe because it's not launching March, and they know that. Or it is and they're about to reveal any day now.
We knew everything about PS4 and Xbox about 6 months prior, maybe 8. So if they're delaying til Nov 2017 why would they announce in summer or fall of 2016?

Depends on what it is. A higher end device could justify $300-350. A Wii-U level hybrid device should probably shoot for $250 with a mid gen price drop to $199 for high volume sales.
I'll buy it either way, but I think price is important. Wii U would have done 3-4x as many sales if it had launched at $250 and with a mid gen price drop to $199. Maybe that would have been too much of a loss for them, but even $300 launch with $250 mid gen drop could have doubled sales.

Well, Wii U hasn't had the best year given it's winding down. I did love Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Paper Mario Color Splash and Zelda Twilight Princess though. Pokémon Tournement and Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard were ok.
Not a slammin year, but decent given I expected very little this year.
As for PS4 (not counting VR) there was a good spread this year. Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, Dragon Quest Builders and Valkyria Chronicles Remastere...
Honestly, I'm finding these games much better than reviews make them sound. DriveClub is amazing and I hated the normal DriveClub. I'm a Forza Horizon kinda guy. And VR Worlds I actually enjoyed a lot. At least, London Heist was excellent and Scavengers Odyssey, and I really liked the Deep Sea Diving.
Don't like horror so Until Dawn was a bust for me. And Here They Lie. But Battlezone was incredible.
I had issues this morning, Arkham VR was unplayable.
But I discovered that rest mode is causing these issues. Completely power down the PS4 and there's a good chance it will fix any tracking issues. There's a reddit about this actually.
Worked for me thankfully.

Honestly, I do want a system seller, and as many as possible. But the experience itself truly is the system seller.
And I never thought I'd be saying that, but it's true. PSVR is just amazing! Kept screaming "oh my goodness, haha! This is amazing!" over and over. And that's just during the menu screen lol

Just got done playing up to chapter 3 in split screen co-op with my brother. Never played Gears before this (well, I played like 45 min of Gears Ultimate in online co-op).
This game is amazing! Now I see what all the fuss was about. Never was a MS gamer but, more and more I'm playing my X1 and less and less PS4 and Wii U (although I am enjoying Paper Mario Color Splash, and Dragon Quest Builders seems great so far plus VR drops next weekend). I'm really enjoying this game. I took a time out from Lost Odyssey playthrough to test out Color Splash, and I can't put it down. This game is hilarious too.

I'm definitely getting Scorpio. It's far enough out from the X1 launch and more powerful enough that it makes sense.
And I wasn't planning on PS4 Pro, but now that I'm in love with PSVR I'm looking for a reason to upgrade. If there's tangible visual benefits I'm getting one, even though the resolution issue is something that can only be fixed through time of technology advancing enough to have 4K split between two eyes for moderate cost.
