I guess for people who are Nintendo only gamers, it's maybe a bad deal.
For people like me who OWN a PS4 and Xbox One, I don't need 3rd party games because I'm not gonna buy games twice, just to have on PS4 and NX. All I care about are different games- games I can't buy on PS4/X1.

Wii U was "twice the power" of PS3 and yet, for all intents and purposes, they look pretty close to the same. "Twice the power" is paltry. 10x-20x.... That's when it'll start blowing you away.

Some recent reports from several big name sites who previewed the recent demo at TGS are indicating the game may be a bust. I assume that's why, and they know it, and are trying to compensate.
It's a shame because Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best games ever made, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for this one to blow me away.
I'm still buying it day one, but, I'm not really excited at this point.
Ya I gotta agree with kalkano here. Idk why people think no one likes turn based games. Fire Emblem Awakening just outsold many staple Nintendo franchises, Final Fantasy X sold 8 million and the re-release sold close to 3 million total. It just has to be a really good game, and the budget and marketing to appeal to a wider audience. And really good turn based games are getting harder to find each passing year, and spend even less on advertising.

Dragon Quest VII just released remade and revised on 3DS. Full console game there (heck it originally released on PSone). With DQ VIII coming next year. Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 also released on PS3 besides Vita, because they were full console games. Xenoblade Chronicles on 3DS is a Wii game. Persona 4 Golden on Vita is also a full console game. Final Fantasy X on Vita also released on PS3 and PS4, and started on PS2. Definitely a full console game.

I was a little worried after Armature released Batman Arkham Black Gate but it seems they did the best with what they could in 2D.
This game has redemption written all over it. The actual director of Metroid Prime (greatest game ever made) is at the helm of Armature and you can definitely see some similarities with the style of side dodging, slow bullets and general atmosphere.
I can't wait to play this game....
I like mine too, but I'm under no delusions about it either. It has had a particularly strong resurgence this year though, with Odin Sphere, Grand Kindgon, Shirin, Legend of Heroes 2 and World of Final Fantasy on the way (and Shantae too I might add).

I'll never pay for PS+ or Xbox Live again. And if my brother gets me another year of each for Christmas I'll sell them on eBay. I put 1000 hours into Monster Hunter online, and haven't paid one red cent for it, as it should be. I'll keep my online gaming on consoles that don't charge me for it.
As for PS4 and X1, it's offline single player games only. And if the game forces an online connection for single player I won...

Well again, that's a lost cause so why chase it? Those games have a market and it's not going to shift to Nintendo. Sony and MS gamers aren't gonna STOP BUYING their games on PS4/X1 to buy them on NX. And Nintendo gamers have proven time and again they have no interest.
