I know this is a flame bait article from Nintendo fanboys...
But you're really showing your own fanboysim with a response like that. I know this article got under your skin, but stooping to this level only serves to make you look just as fanatical and ignorant.
I HATE articles like this.
It flame baits Sony and Microsoft fans and will only serve to make them antagonistic toward Nintendo, instead of acknowledging Sony and MS for their amazing consoles and inviting fans to also consider Nintendo and what they bring to the table.
Nintendo fanboys are damaging Nintendo with this kind of taunting attitude.
I remember when I got mine- Uncharted and Unit 13 and Wipeout, Assassins Creed and Rayman Origins and Sonic Racing Transformed... my dream was Portal on the go, which never happened.
Now it's all JP games, which is still cool cause I like a lot of JP games. Not the super niche stuff. I hear people saying sometimes, "what do you mean Vita has no games, that Fate Extella and Criminal Girls 2 Party Favors just dropped"... and I'm like uhhhh, no lol. But World...
Thank you for the clarification :)
No doubt. Just unplug from one, plug in the other. Done and done.
Idk what dudes talking about saying Ethernet is faster. Nothing is faster than simply plugging in an external drive and dusting your hands off afterward.
Got my 2TB HDD and Ethernet. Got USB drive with the latest OS update too. I'm ready.
Gimme gimme.
Got my Pro coming, new 4K HDR 55" coming Wed, and Robinson The Journey and Eagle Flight in transit for PSVR.
IM READY
^^^^^ This.
The thing is they don't have to invest a whole lot to support VR.
Common misconception is that it needs games built ground up, but no it doesn't. Volume, Super Stardust, DriveClub with its 3rd person perspective, Allumette... these games have proven that you should be able to take any video game, ANY video game, and simply format it for VR so that it has depth of field and you're playing it in a virtual space.
If they're developing games...
Short gaming sessions might be best for you but it's certainly not best for me. I'll sit there and play for hours at a crack.
But even if you do prefer shorter gaming sessions, it doesn't mean you need shorter GAMES.
Totally agree.
Super Stardust Ultra (the modes which feature the normal game in VR), Volume, that Robot Rescue platformer from the VR Playroom, along with Allumette, and to an extent even DriveClub with its optional 3rd person perspective, has proven normal games can thrive in VR.
And.... I'll never get to play this cause Firaxis won't bring Civilization to consoles.
Still waiting on CivRev for 360 to get BC support. In the meantime, I imported CivRev2+ for Vita and the original CivRev DS port. Beggars can't be choosers I guess.
Surprisingly (because this was my biggest concern before buying PSVR), I found us some of the shorter titles are very well-suited for VR play.
With that said we NEED some more full length games. And not just of the multiplayer or arena gameplay type. I'm talking epic single player campaigns. Like a JRPG or any number of story driven AAA titles.
Eagle Flight and Robinson The Journey are gonna be a nice one two punch this coming Tuesday, but neither o...
When I played DriveClub on PSVR for the first time, I was surprised how good the mechanics were and how fun it was.
I'm not sure if I'd play it normally on a TV but, the game is a dream in VR
Not really a big graphics guy, but I'm liking these improvements.
I mean, anything on PS3/Wii U level is acceptable for me. But since I'm buying a Pro anyways for VR improvement, I'll gladly take this extra slice on the side
I've moved on.
So hyped for this
Ugh...
Mobile. Of course. Cause they'd never hire the good ones for making new games on actual gaming devices.
I agree with your statement I think that's very true.
But it's also just as true with Sony. They jumped into VR after Oculus broke ground, they jumped into Move after Nintendo broke ground, they jumped into handhelds after Nintendo created the market. Copy games like PS All Stars...
Neither one of them truly innovate. And yeah I'm thankful for both of them for driving the markets. Because even though Sony jumps into whatever's popular a...
I think $300 is the magic price point. It may be a little less powerful than current gen consoles like say, the Xbox One, but if it's cramming all that power into a portable device then the price is going to reflect that.
The GPD Win runs about $300 as a mobile Windows 10 PC gaming handheld, and the switch should far exceed that device in specs. So if they can hold down that $300 price I think it's going to do well
