The thing that worries me is that Sony clearly has to focus on the PS4 launch, they have every single developer working on PS4 games yes? Where does that leave the Vita?
Third party developers were already not doing much with the handheld, now that Sony basically has to switch their focus this year, I don't see how they can have very many big plans for Vita, I think people will want more than cross play, the thing needs its own killer apps somewhere along the line.
It wasn't nearly as bad as "No Russian" on Modern Warfare 2, and at least in this game it had an underlying reason for tripping out on people.
The only ones I have pre-ordered right now are Tomb Raider, Gears Judgment and Lego City Undercover for the Wii U.
I might pick up one more, but with new consoles coming later this year, it makes picking up current games something that goes on the back burner.
This is so full of trolls, but Lionhead had been working on a next Xbox game for a while now. Fable The Journey was something the smaller team was working on, and Lionhead is a huge studio.
Most likely the MMO they were rumored to be working on for the next Xbox, I'd love a Fable MMO on the next Xbox, would make an interesting launch title, and the fact that it's Unreal Engine 4 would sweeten the deal.
It's an impulse buy at $99, parents might buy it as an alternative to something more expensive, people who don't care about internet services might want to take advantage of a low price and a huge library of games.
I seriously doubt they sell the next Xbox in such a fashion, it was rumored that they would sell a current 360 without a disc drive that way.
Not sure too many people would be up for paying $299-$399 for a cable box or streaming box, especially since you can get a Roku for $50.
People are flipping out acting as if Microsoft cant do two things at once, gaming and entertainment seem to bridge the same gap. Sony sells TV's and produces movies, they have an...
Gee, what ever will Microsoft do......lol
Why is he still on this site? I know people have had to report him like I have, but he always seems to come back and post more and more.
I'm of the opinion that he's one of the main things wrong with this site, not him alone, but the fact that he'll get more agrees than disagrees when obviously trolling is just wrong.
Anyway, these are the same rumors that plagued the PS4 and they turned out to be false, DRM doesn't work, and Microsoft has to...
This game reminds me of Star Wars Battlefront, it's third person action, and there are different factions to choose from. The goal is to capture the opposing teams command points.
I play this game at least a couple of times a week. Love it! Glad to see it's doing so well.
Cant pass up some of those deals! Even though I'm not a big digital only fan, gotta fill up that 320 gig HDD somehow!
We have no info on the next Xbox, we have no release price or design on the PS4 and yet we are trying to declare a winner? lol
I remember after the PS3 was announced people said the same thing, didn't really work out that well.
Well I'll start by saying this, Microsoft improved from 24 million units sold with the original Xbox to over 76 million with the 360. They are headed towards first in North America, they have had the best selling console in NA 25 straight months.
They actually have 20 first party studios now, over the last 4 years they opened 5 new studios and bought Twisted Pixel.
Sony went from dominating every market and 150 million consoles sold to 74?
You don't have an Xbox 360, you troll everything Microsoft, call off the dogs kiddo.
They managed to sell 25+ million Kinect's, they shifted focus, Sony tried the same thing but just couldn't pull it off. Have you ever thought some people enjoy gaming with Kinect and can also enjoy standard controller based games? I'm one of those people, so you can imagine how happy I've been with my Xbox 360, not saying I love everything Kinect, but there are some fun t...
Looking damn good!
If this were a PSN sale, this article would have 100+ comments by now. There are some great deals to be found, full games for $5, that is great!
Imagine going into a Gamestop and only seeing Sony and Nintendo items there. That would be a future where Microsoft was the only one to block used games. They might as well get out of the gaming business, I'm sure they must realize this, they probably have people checking what gamers are saying about this. I don't think there is a single gamer for blocking used games, and not simply because they love buying used games, but because they might like to take a game to a friends house or l...
Well the thing that could help the Wii U is that there probably wont be enough 720's or PS4's at launch, if Nintendo has games and possibly a Wii U priced at $250, they could do that, they might be just fine. As it is, even with the troubles they had in January, the Wii U could end up 8-10 million units ahead of Sony and Microsoft's next consoles.
Ya, Microsoft is going to delay their next console launch because Sony "unveiled" their first, Nintendo too. Also, Microsoft is just going to hand over the next generation to Sony by blocking used games, always requiring online and focusing strictly on Kinect and social functions.....
Blah, blah, blah, we've heard it all before. Microsoft butts heads with a lot of companies, and Sony didn't even show off the PS4 or commit to final specs yet, what the hell wo...
2011 would like a word with you! So that would make 3 of the 6 years that the PS3 was on the market it didn't sell as well.
If the Xbox 720 comes out with a sku for $299 and the PS4 is $499, you don't think that will affect sales? Sony used to dominate every market, especially North America, if you don't think price had an impact on Sony losing market share, you need a check up from the neck up bro.
I think the fact that the XMB pretty much looked the same since the PSP launched in 2005, it was beyond time for a change. I like the new look, obviously having the memory to offer something a bit more complex is paying off.
