Would have been nice to see the graphical improvements a Wii U version could have gotten. I mean if Need For Speed was getting PC textures, why not Crysis 3?
Sucks that companies want to put their games on the Wii U but publishers aren't willing to risk it at this time.
I used to HATE BO2, but after the latest patch I've found it much more enjoyable. Is it the best shooter out right now? No! I still spend more of my time on Halo 4, but it is finally starting to be playable...a mere 4 months after its launch.
Well when you consider Sony has put out 2 GT games each generation it shouldn't be a surprise. GT6 on PS3 could sell upwards of 8 million copies in a relatively short time. As a launch title for the PS4 it probably would do decent numbers, but nowhere near the numbers that it would do on the PS3. It sucks that the surprise was outed in such a way, because I'm sure it probably would have been an E3 surprise.
The Forza motorsport series is probably the most sim racer I've ever played. Horizon was maybe a bit more arcade, but the Motorsport series has realistic damage and tire physics. Top notch all the way, I mean there was a reason they had the top rated franchise this generation.
I loved Forza 4, and it is my all time favorite sim racer, but Forza Horizon is the game that stole my heart. It hasn't been far from my Xbox 360 since it came out last year.
Cliffy B has kind of lost his mind recently. I kind of understand what he is saying, but very few games that aren't Call Of Duty are going to be played year in and year out. People buy and play the newest and "greatest" thing.

We don't know what the future holds for indie games, but since so many big named studios are going under, it's a safe bet that Microsoft will want to lure as many talented indie developers to their platform as possible.
Maybe the next Xbox will bring back the indie game, used to love the indie section before the update made it impossible to find.

Last I checked, Microsoft had other viable franchises aside from Halo. Let's not even get into the fact that Black Tusk Studios is crafting 4 brand new core IP's.

This wouldn't be a surprise because Disney now owns the rights. I heard they were halting all expanded universe projects because they want to assess them and see if they would make proper stand alone movies in the future. Cant have a video game as canon exploring the world of Boba Fett if they are planning on making a movie doing the same thing.
I think Nintendo didn't see Rayman getting delayed again and going multiplatform. They probably also thought New Super Mario Bro's U would be a huge system seller, but most people already had their fill of that game on the Wii and DS/3DS.
They are hopefully saving the big guns for when the new consoles come out from Sony and Microsoft.
No price, no release date, no actual PS4 to show off, only saw Killzone running on it for a few minutes and now someone is already asking if it's going to win a generation?
We don't know what Microsoft has planned, we don't know much of anything at this point. I'd just be happy to see some consoles do well and have all the doom and gloom articles cease for a while.

Not really, the Wii U version of the game came out before the Wii U launched. I'd say the next round of consoles will come out in November, mid to late November, but we just don't know yet.
Just because the current versions of AC will come out in October doesn't mean the next gen ones will.
MS has been having some great sales all week long, I already have these games, but still a good deal for others if they are looking to get into some of the earlier (better) COD games.
I'm a tech guy, I bought a Wii U at launch and will definitely be looking to get Microsoft and Sony's next consoles at launch, as long as they are within a reasonable price range. $500 and I'll just wait until a price drop.

I wouldn't be surprised if the current Xbox and PlayStation outsell the next Xbox and PlayStation for at least a year+
I think if people are expecting huge, HUGE sales on next gen consoles right away they will be kind of disappointed.
