Among others to be certain, not that I wouldn't enjoy an Uncharted 4, 5 and 6, the enevitable God Of War 4, 5 and 6, and Killzone 4, 5 and 6. Heck, we get Infamous 3, which is the third game in 5 years, but I guess it's only Microsoft that gives fans the sequels they want right?
Sheesh.
Like a mouse trying to swallow an elaphant.
Industry buzz words are so cute, thankfully we know they are done with current consles after Judgment and can focus their efforts on the next Xbox for future Gears titles. Would love to see that game at 60fps.
Great review.
Must be too focused on the next Xbox to use up money and resources for what sounds like an expensive game. This happens, but only on N4G is it huge news, must mean doom for Microsoft.
Already have a Wii U, I think a lot depends on price when it comes to the others. If both are $399 or less, I'll buy both, if not I'll probably buy the next Xbox simply because my favorite franchises are on that.
In all honesty though, it's way too eary to predict because we haven't heard anything from Microsoft on the next Xbox and we haven't seen the actual PS4 or had confirmed finalized specs.
Good score.
This is the Sony Defense Team here at N4G, nobody ever says anything negative about Sony, and you damn well know it. They invented everything, have the best games, only care about core gamers and never do any wrong. They invented gaming, just like Al Gore invented the internet.
Sony patents in game ads, "No big deal".
Sony shows Move and a camera at the PS4 unveil and nobody blinks an eye.
Get outta here kid.
Eye Toy is a web cam, you can still use it as a web cam. If you've ever played a Kinect you'll know how different they are. It's pure N4G ignorance to spout off otherwise.
Hey, the original Xbox was the first home console to support HDTV's, was the first to have a built in high speed modem, was the first to have a built in HDD. Did Sony steal those ideas? Get outta here kid.
What happened to patents don't mean they'll use them? I mean that was the standard response when Sony had patents for weird things.
I highly doubt anyone would sit there and spy on you through a Kinect or Eye or webcam.
The main reason they aren't Sega is that they haven't lost consumer confidense the way Sega did. Sega kept putting out add-on's for the Genesis and then just abandoned them in a short amount of time, meaning people would buy these things just to waste their time and money.
Nintendo has huge successes with the Wii and 3DS and even the regular DS brand. The Wii U is still on par with what the PS3 and Xbox 360 did this early, so there is plenty of time and games to ...
Wow....
"Better" is such a subjective word to use, it means different things to different people. Some might enjoy Watch Dogs more, some might enjoy GTA4 more. It's all relative to say the least, I mean we've gotten to the point where we pick and choose the way to judge a game, sales no longer count, and how the game scores only seems to matter when it's a suits someones argument.
Both look good from what we've seen, GTA games are always fun, Watch Dogs loo...
The guy is a visionary for sure, helped save the industry and give us some of the longest lasting franchises of all time. I mean as much as we hype certain games or characters, will any of them last as long as Mario, Donkey Kong or Zelda? probably not.
No, no and no. How's that work for ya? Considering PC gaming invented the whole concept of Microtransactions.
Why even post this? We know here at N4G Sony is king and Microsoft cannot hope to compete! No matter the IP's, no matter the reviews or sales, it all pales in comparison to all mighty Sony!
Let's all focus on Microsoft having a Kinect camera, but lets forget that the PS4 will launch with one too...
Seriously, there wont be any domination from a single brand next gen, pretty even.
I'm getting disagrees even after I posted proof, it's funny that so many Sony fans believe their own BS so much that they think Microsoft would just give up such a huge, cheap seller like the Xbox 360.
Think of the units they could sell with a couple of price drops? They haven't dropped the 360 in price in over 4 years, a $99 4 gig Xbox 360 would sell great.
They aren't going to just give up when they've owned North America for 25 straig...
No, just no. Microsoft has said they want a 10 year cycle for the Xbox 360. Considering that they've switched focus with it, I highly doubt they'll abandon it.
You have to do more than spout off what others say, the chip that was originally in the first Xbox ceased production which prompted Microsoft to launch the 360 before it was actually ready. They were also taking huge losses on every original Xbox sold, and only sat at 24 million sold. The Xbox 360 earns money p...
I love the new Tomb Raider game, I think it's the best one to date. I also played all the originals on the PS1 when they came out and loved those as well, but the new one is just so cinimatic and has a far better, immersive story to build upon.
I think this particular Tomb Raider is better than the first and third Uncharted games, but not the second. I also thought the fact that Tomb Raider is less linear and more open world helped give it the edge over two of the Uncharted games, the second Uncharted was just a masterpiece and probably one of the best games this generation..hard to top that.
