I know how you feel about it already, from what I've seen it's night and day better!
Try to get me to change my mind on how I think about something is really not going to happen. Xbox One is obviously a day one purchase for me, I don't care if I'm the only one who buys it, it's for me to like or dislike, not some random people on the internet.
You don't think a single indie developer will ever develop for the Xbox One? Try reading the article please....
I don't see any lag on the video I posted, I've not heard of anyone having issues with it, in fact it tracks where you put the most strain on your body, looks interesting to me!
No, right now everything is still rumor, Major Nelson said they'll announce something sooner or later, so I assume around E3.
The whole way this is supposed to go, looks an awful lot like Sony's patent from earlier this year http://www.ign.com/articles...
Not saying that is more than a rumor right now either, but there is no clear yes...
I kind of agree with you, also I'd point out that the Wii U is the only "game" console that doesn't have a media function like a DVD player or Blu-Ray player, it's actually the most dedicated gaming console on the market....and considering the emphasis it has on television and entertainment...it's a sobering fact.
I watched the conference, and I'm getting it. You assume everyone went into it expecting a ton of games, I'm educated and read that Microsoft said many, many times leading to the unveiling that games would be E3's focus, not the reveal.
In every sense of the word the Kinect was a success, and Microsoft actually backed it with advertisements and content. It's the fastest selling electronic device of all time according to The Guinness Book Of World Records, and it's sold over 25 million units in less than 2 and a half years.
That being said, it isn't the best thing ever or anything, but obviously has found much success.
*Edit*
So the excuse starts now? Microsoft was able to a...
This looks really, really good. I'm glad I have it already pre-ordered!
It's Crimson Dragon, and it's the spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon. I believe that game will be shown off at E3, but I think it might be coming to the Xbox One, either that or it'll finally get a release date on the Xbox 360.
I love Panzer Dragoon, so it's something I've been following for a while now. It'll work well because Panzer Dragoon is on rails to begin with, plus dragons are always win!
I haven't heard a single gaming site put down the Kinect 2.0 yet, they've all been impressed and tried it hands on. I was very surprised at Adam Sessler's take on Kinect 2.0 because he hated the first Kinect a lot.
He said it's much more 1:1 and it can recognize you in the dark, or 3 feet in front of it.
I'm buying all 3, I'm happy the Wii U launched earlier so I already have that one bought, now it's on to the PS4 and Xbox One. I have the Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 this generation as well, had Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and Dreamcast the generation before. I don't like being excluded by exclusives...get it?
Anyway...lol
If you can afford it, it's the best way to go.
My brother and I did sign up for the early pre-order, so I guess all the negative internet reaction isn't going to end up being the majority. Would still like clarification to the used game issue though, hoping for a positive resolution so everyone can be happy.
How do you know the PS4 will have more exclusives? Microsoft did set aside 1 billion for game development for the Xbox One, and Xbox Live will feature dedicated servers for all Xbox One games, which offers a distinct advantage over the competition.

Why wouldn't they get money from second hand sales? The Xbox 360 allows used games, and new games will continue to be produced for it for years to come.
I think they'll still get a fair share of indie games, I mean they went out of their way to get Minecraft and it's sold over 6 million copies on the Xbox 360.
They are obviously open to change it, I mean Sony wasn't always indie friendly, so anything can happen. If Microsoft sees the market for those types of games, I'm sure they'd open up a bit more.
I like some indie games, would prefer if they opened things up more and were more invit...
Ryse switched from being a Kinect only title, to being "better with Kinect", which means it'll be controller based for the most part, but maybe offer both?
If you watch the video I'm posting, it has Adam Sessler talking about his time with Kinect 2.0, and he says "Much more 1:1 motion controls". So that perked my ears right up.
Well Activision wont be paying for them, but Wired Magazine confirmed with Microsoft that all games on Xbox Live with Xbox One will be hosted on dedicated servers. Part of the reason why they will have 300,000 servers ready for Xbox Live.
"Microsoft regularly applies for and receives patents as part of its business practice; not all patents applied for or received will be incorporated into a Microsoft product."
This is the same line Sony used when they filed for patents to do in game ads and a ton of other things.
These companies file for patents all the time, we cant subjectively look at the ones Microsoft files and hate on them, without hating on the others. We honestly shouldn...
Agreed, I like Kinect, I don't think it was quite where it needed to be, but I've heard the most love for Kinect 2 by the original Kinect's biggest critics.
So I think it will work much better, and the apps, entertainment, SmartGlass and Kinect are all things Microsoft obviously tracked the last few years. Glad I wasn't the only one to think this...lol
Can I ask you if you believe that the same people stay at a developer the entire time it's open? I mean Activision was the first third party studio ever, do you think any of those original Atari programmers are with the company?
Rare has an interesting story, they've changed personal many, many times. The Stamper Brothers, who are the founders of Rare, well they used to force people to work on games 7 days a week, even Christmas, there were mass defections in the late...
