No, they've already said no fee, and according to Polygon there is no fee whatsoever.
Basically as I said earlier, if I have a game and lend it to my brother, when he goes to play it, it will authenticate on his console, which will deactivate it on mine.

Personally I don't have issue with ...
Actually they said they are all retail releases, no download games. When has a console ever featured download games at launch? As for the actual games we don't know, aside from core games like Forza, Quatum Break and Ryse, which is controller based. Rumor has Halo 2 HD, Crackdown 3 and Banjo Kazooe or Killer Instinct. So it could be a varied launch that is awesome!
Love this new design, made by gamer's for gamer's, glad they addressed the D-pad and controller drift issues.
Awesome news! I loved Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider very much, just finished Sleeping Dogs and it's so underrated! Loved it!
If you are referring to a patent, their official response was the same as Sony's when they filed for a patent to do in game ads and block used games.
Millions of people have Kinect right now, and I've not seen a single problem or exploitation. Also, nobody is forcing people to buy the Xbox One, if you fear for your privacy, don't buy it. It's actually quite a simple thing, don't like it, don't buy it.
I've had my Kinect hooked up...
It wouldn't be just for friends obviously, it'd be used for rental services and things like that. Once I have it installed and activated, if I lend it to my brother or whoever else, when they activate it in their console, it deactivates it in mine.
So if I rent a game from Gamefly and activate it, it will deactivate it from who had it last ect... It really isn't THAT hard to grasp in my opinion.
You've got old information my friend.

" Xbox One games will phone home to Microsoft servers on a regular basis to verify that their users own the games. If you buy a used title, however, Polygon claims that you won't have to pay Microsoft for a fresh license to the game.
Simply popping in th...
I'm confused, I thought it came out the other day that you could share games and buy used games? Even their official statement said they designed Xbox One with that in mind....
@darkpower
The last few years was all about Microsoft biding time for their first party studios to make games for the Xbox One, if you'll notice, you rarely saw a first party studio take the stage, even most of the Kinect stuff was third party.
Hence the 15 exclusives and 8 new Ip's within the Xbox One's first year on the market. We don't know what those 15 are aside from Forza 5, Quantum Break and Ryse, but I know I'm not the only one dying to f...
I guess it's progress, I still remember the original Xbox only came with a high speed modem, and at the time I was used to gaming with dial up, and I was outraged at the time, but once I got high speed internet I changed my tune.
Also, it's not like you cant play the game if you drop connection on Xbox One. If online truly improves the gaming experience, I'm okay with it. As long as you can still play the games if your internet drops completely, which sounds like th...
If so it's a day one! I loved Crackdown and thought Crackdown 2 was okay, just needed a new town and some reinventing. I mean if we're getting Crackdown, Forza, Halo 2, Banjo ect... Then it's going to be a varied launch lineup, which is just what I'm looking for.
Crackdown 3, Forza 5, Ryse, Halo 2 HD with a full online mode, and possibly Banjo Kazooie would all be great launch titles!
Hopefully it wont be too long before we get to see some of these launch games in action.
I suppose so, I mean I guess I cant be excited about a new video game console and controller.
I love the look in the new controller, cant wait for the chance to try one out.
You mean the Xbox One? Which will have virtually 90% of the same games as the PS4? I'd also like to point out a little 15 exclusives, 8 new IP as a good reason as to why it makes sense for me to buy an Xbox One this year, as opposed to PS4.
Plus, I play a lot of games online, and I'm liking the sound of those dedicated servers!
Well I'd like to wait for E3 before saying it's abandoning gamer's, I mean if the games they show are great, and obviously they are spending a billion in games alone for Xbox One, not to mention it'll play virtually 90% of the same exact games as the PS4, so I think it's best to wait and see.
I don't think you want to get in a debate about false advertising when it comes to video games. I just think a big company like Microsoft has the ability to run a network of servers that large, and this guy obviously doesn't have inside knowledge.
Also, I watched the reveal, and he was doing the screen grab with two hands, so I kind of doubt that was faked, we've also seen plenty of Kinect 2 footage as it was available to the press after, and I've not heard a...
The thing is, how does he know it's a lie? If it were simply for cloud computing he might have a point, but those servers are to directly contribute to every game on Xbox One being hosted on a dedicated server, which obviously takes a lot of servers to accomplish.

That's what I'm saying, I mean I'll end up with a PS4 sooner or later anyway, but if I can still get quality games like the ones you listed, why upgrade now? Where as Xbox 360 isn't really doing exclusives like that at this point and time, so it makes more sense to upgrade that sooner.
It's the Xbox One, and considering I've never heard anyone call the original Xbox the Xbox 1 or the Xbox 360 the Xbox 2, I think it's fine. Also, you cant buy original Xbox games, consoles, or accessories at any new store, so it shouldn't really confuse anyone.
