I think they are secretly wondering WTF? Hopefully the latest report on the issue is true, which actually makes the most sense.

My understanding of this is that they are trying to say that you install the game on your console and you won't need the disc every time you want to play.

You initially install it and then you won't need it any more. You can bring the disc to a friend's house and install/play over there, but when you get back home, you will need to prove you still "own" the game by putting in the disc and re-authenticating.

Basically, this is a solution fo...

The way this version of Kinect looks to be working I'm hoping it does a lot of good things. I know some will have a sour taste because the last one wasn't "all that" as the young kids say these days.

I enjoyed the first Kinect as an option is some games, love what I'm hearing so far about the new one, hearing people praise it that bashed the first one has me really excited.

@asyouburn
You obviously didn't play Skyrim on Xbox 360 with Kinect then, that game was 100% better with Kinect. It worked like hot keys and was much easier to go through items. Mass Effect 3 was also much better, as was Forza 4, I had a blast using Autovista mode and head tracking.

If it isn't your thing, fine, but some people enjoyed it, like me!

It's a premium service, and for some it isn't worth it, but for millions of people, it's well worth it. I play online a lot, and dedicated servers on all games is something I've been begging for.

You are looking at some of those other features in the wrong light, do you think it doesn't cost money to get demo's early, DLC or those apps? Not sure why today's gamer thinks they are entitled to so much for no money.

I guess in your m...

At least next gen we wont have to say "console exclusive" anymore, which was annoying. Keep your IP's on consoles only, it makes things easier, and it gives some people a reason to buy your console.

They should just come out and say what the deal is, but if this is the case, I have no problem with it. As long as there isn't a fee for used games, and I can loan a game to my bro, we're all good.

I guess that justified them not getting another chance, and being closed down then.

Well investing 1 billion in first party games for Xbox One is a good start I think anyway.

Also, adding dedicated servers for all games over Xbox Live proves that they want core gamer's to have the best online experiences that they possibly can.

No offense to you, but you don't know me at all, you just see words that I type. If I didn't care about gaming I wouldn't do reviews for two sites and have a Youtube channel with gaming as the dedicated feature. I also do Let's Play videos on a regular basis.

I buy every console every single generation, and I've bought 95% of my games new to support developers. I own almost 500 current generation games, I run a gaming clan www.teammoh.com and I've bee...

Sony closed down Zipper, so if they did come out with a new Socom, it wouldn't have the same feel to it.

Sure thing, also I don't do damage control as I don't work for a gaming company, just don't feel like negatives are the only things worth talking about.

Every single game will have dedicated servers! They are putting 300,000 of them up, do you think that should be free? It's a steal for the price honestly.

Xbox One and used games

Over the paste few days, we have been reading comments and message boards following the Xbox One announcement. There are a few questions regarding used games. I wanted to clarify and provide this official statement:

The ability to trade in and resell games is important to gamers and to Xbox. Xbox One is designed to support the trade in and resale of games. Reports about our policies for trade in and re...

Selling like 25+ million in 2 & half years probably has something to do with them keeping the tech with the new Xbox.

They already said if you're a Gold Member right now, it carries over. This is great news however.

This shouldn't surprise anyone really, before last E3 there were stories that Diablo 3 was running really well on the Xbox 360.

I have no wish or desire to feel validated, the only way I wasn't going to buy an Xbox One would have been if it needed a constant internet connection to use games.

I don't need to convince people to buy the Xbox One, if they want to buy it, they will. At the same time I have strong opinions when it comes to gaming, and it shouldn't just be the negative people who are allowed to share their opinions, don't you agree?

This is the latest from M...

You still didn't read the article, indie developers will still put games on the Xbox platform.

These are funny, but I've seen most of them previously. I still remember when I first played the Wii and punched my bro in the face, then I almost threw the Wii Remote through the TV by mistake...lol
