This is the lame trolling stuff that bothers me, 8 agrees and 0 disagrees really?

The game could get ported to the Wii U, looking forward to it on the Xbox One though.

You don't think core gamer's are going to buy an Xbox One? I'm pretty core centric and I'm buying one. I also play games competitively and the Xbox One having dedicated servers for all of their online games screams core to me.

Even so, Microsoft put out a lot of money to get Japanese games last gen and they've already come out and said they will try the market again this gen.

Not saying that means anything for this game, but they'll definitely keep trying, and part of that is getting Japanese made games and paying for them ect..

Isn't one on Xbox and one on PC? Sort of a moot point to compare in my opinion.

This is very forward thinking, and although it's not something they can use much right now, in 3 or so years it might very well be something we see on a regular basis.

If the internet can improve the experience of a game, why not? I mean Destiny is online only, Watch Dogs is said to be greatly gimped offline, so this is kind of big news.

There is some nice future proofing going on with Xbox One from what I can see. I still remember people complaining (m...

Nope, the Wired article goes in depth with Microsoft, they were there during the build process.

What did you think 300,000 servers were for? I mean obviously other things as well. I'm actually surprised there isn...

Is Frostbite 3 an entirely new engine as claimed? I just think people are finding more and more reasons to be picky, yes there is a lot of BS in the games industry, but gamer's create a lot of this stuff in their heads. I've seen some crazy things focused on this generation, it's gotten almost comical to me.

Well it didn't go wrong with the reveal because MS said they weren't showing games, but rather getting the "boring stuff" out of the way.

The part in my mind that went wrong was afterwards and the inconsistent executives who contradicted each other. I think they just need to lose the fee for used games, and focus on the games and giving people a great price point.

Looks fun, but I'm gonna have to start skipping some current gen games, gotta save up to get the new ones.

I didn't compare it to anything, just said I thought it looked good. Ya know, the hate COD gets makes me very optimistic about the Xbox One, people hate and hate on COD and it sells more and more each time.

The vocal minority sure are hard to please, but loud as heck, it makes for a bad combination. Not sure why people freak out over everything, maybe it's my age, but people need to learn to relax a little more, wait and see works better than scream, rant and whimper...

Anything with Xbox in it infringes on their trademark. I couldn't go get the domain PlayStationFour and expect to keep it, this kind of thing happens all the time, which is why it's a good idea to buy all the domains you can.

I don't hate it, and I'm not jealous because I'm going to buy one day one.

I don't think these types of articles are helping the situation, probably just looking for hits. Hopefully when E3 rolls around we'll get a clearer picture.

It isn't unusual though, I mean do people not think Unreal 4 doesn't have code from Unreal 3, or Unreal 2? Same with Frostbite 3, do you think it's entirely new and has no trace of Frostbite 2?

I thought it looked good, I'm willing to go back to COD again, looking forward to trying those dedicated servers and the new dog system looks interesting.

This is so fake! But it does go to show how much people on this site hate Microsoft, it's kind of sickening to me actually.

I've never heard of the site, check XBL and it says everything is up and running. *Yawn*

Well they'll be at the Microsoft event demoing Ghosts I'm sure, but I didn't see them listed otherwise.

Well I'm sure all the launch games and games in the first year will give me plenty to do. It isn't every day that 15 exclusives and 8 new IP are announced for the first year of a console, traditionally console launches are pretty bare.

Also obviously looking forward to the likes of Destiny, Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed 4, Madden 25 and Witcher 3.

No, you stated that the Xbox 360 versions of COD sell between 3-4 million more than the PS3 versions so it wasn't as big a gap. I stated that $60 x 4 million is worth it to Microsoft to keep the content exclusive, and now with dedicated servers on all Xbox games on Xbox One, it's going to probably push even more gamer's to the Xbox version.

4769d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Could be? I'd be all for it if that's true, the problem would be production. Microsoft has a bit of leverage in that they really only need to launch in North America and EU this year.

4769d ago 2 agree7 disagreeView comment

Which is what E3 is for right? I think Microsoft had a broader audience in mind with their reveal, gamer's can be fickle, but good games can bring them back quick.

If Microsoft waves the fee, gets rid of the check in with internet, shows off great games, and offers dedicated servers with all of their games online (which is already confirmed), people will buy one.

4769d ago 2 agree4 disagreeView comment

Draconian DRM is where if your internet drops you cant play any games, Microsoft hasn't finalized the plans yet, but you will need internet, so I guess that eliminates some potential buyers.

As for those people, they can go with Wii U or PS4, or even stick to current consoles for a while.

I'm not mad, never was, I want the used game fee to be lifted so I can lend my single player games to my little bro, but other than that I have no issues.
