Are you serious? Anything that makes you feel as if you're in the game is a plus, no matter how insignificant. Using voice commands to control a dog, a controller that has resistance and feedback and can alert you as to which direction you're being fired upon, those are ways to immerse people more into gaming.

As far as everything multimedia that it can do I'm not certain at all, I mean the ability to do a couple of things at once, or use Skype while gaming kind of caught my eye.

What might set it apart from Sony's PS4 is the fact that Microsoft has 300,000 servers and every game is going to be on those, it might very well be the only play to play a COD game on dedicated servers, so that could also play into the equation.

At this point I don't know, I...

Seeing as how I've never heard anyone call it Xbox 1 or Xbox One in the past, it shouldn't confuse many. It's not like the original Xbox was all that successful to begin with. It's been almost a decade since it was available for purchase, and it's not like you can go into a retail store and buy an original Xbox either.

There isn't going to be a confusion with Xbox One and the original Xbox, because you simply cannot buy the original anymore, aside from...

Backwards compatibility is when you put in a disc that you bought from a previous generation, into a new generation console and it works.

Paying a subscription or re-purchasing titles that you've already owned, isn't backwards compatibility.

By the end of the year, hopefully I'll own all three, already got the Wii U.

Everyone is putting the guy down because he didn't say anything negative, but I haven't heard anything negative from any of the legit gaming press, not about the box specifically anyway.

Looking forward to E3, want to see some sweet games running on that sweet box.

Did you really say you cant wait for Anonymous to hack a gaming device? really? I mean seriously...and you have a ton of agrees. People should be ashamed of themselves, that group is the enemy of all gamer's, you cant just pick and choose because you happen to not like something.

Most of the people complaining, are people who weren't going to buy the next Xbox anyway. I've never seen so much childishness before in my life, don't like it? don't buy it!

It's next gen by the technical term, and a large leap for Nintendo themselves in terms of raw power. One thing I've seen from some of the game footage of next gen so far, is that the games will look better than they do now, but it isn't blowing my mind yet.

We might be into a generation where more emphasis is put on frames per second, physics and AI, in which case the Wii U will probably look competitive with the other consoles, and if Nintendo can show us some g...

I think we'll have to know more about it, like how many more players per map? How much larger are the maps themselves?

The good thing is that it's still running at 60fps, and to me that is an important part of why COD games are so much fun. It's a shame to think some shooters will still probably be running 30fps on next generation hardware.

The thing to me is that Microsoft has the goal to really attract a large audience. Come E3 when they show off some games, and people will have it start to sink in that 90% of the games on the PS4 will be on the Xbox One anyway, then it'll come down to price.

If you have a choice between two machines that basically play the same games, and one does so much more as far as multimedia is concerned, and especially if Microsoft prices it in the $299-$399 range, that could in t...

There is a difference between always connected and always on. As long as you don't have to be connected 24/7, that isn't always online DRM.

Sweet, I always kind of wondered why they didn't do this before, if you can use voice commands to control the dogs, that is kind of neat and adds a level of immersion. From the looks of the new controller on Xbox One, you might be able to tell when enemy fire is coming from based on vibration on the controller.

It's been four days.....We didn't hear anyone say anything about the PS4 until a while after. Why do people get all excited if something doesn't happen exactly the way it did when the PS4 was revealed?

Can we give it a couple weeks, and see what people actually have to say? Or are we going to speculate negatively about it on the internet?

I'd like to throw out there that a lot of the devs said reacted positively to the PS4 had games announced...

Well we know Microsoft signed a partnership with EA, and in addition to the Respawn game being rumored as an exclusive, Mirrors Edge 2 was listed briefly the other day as an Xbox exclusive.

I could be totally wrong, I mean we are all just guessing here, sometimes I think a bit out of the box.

On a score scale of 5, a 3 would be average, anything lower than a 3 means the game is broken, which Bioshock Infinite was not.

Even if you didn't like the story or thought it was boring, the games mechanics certainly weren't busted.

Well it's hard to guess since 8 are new IP, and even if you remove Quantum Break and Ryse, you still cant guess 6 new games.

Anyway, I think judging by the hub we saw that we'll get Halo 2 HD, since it's clearly the Halo 2 logo, Forza 5, Ryse, Quantum Break, Banjo Kazooie-mainly because I believe the Killer Instinct domain stuff was a swerve just like getting Xbox Fusion trademarked.

Forza 5
Ryse
Quantum Break
Halo 2 HD w...

How many Sony exclusives are going to be core? Do you think they'll still use Move? Or there camera that is a lot like Kinect?

The point is, we don't know. I hope since Kinect is with every console that they at least implement it as an option where it makes sense. Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Forza 4 show that as an option or addition, it works pretty well.

I'd venture to say of the 15, maybe 3-4 will be full Kinect, but certainly not Black Tusks ga...

Since you have one bubble I'm not really take what you say at face value, but since you seem to be a regular on this site I'll bite.

Microsoft said they would not focus on games on May 21st, they clearly stated they would introduce the hardware and focus on games at E3. I can go dig up multiple links to stories to prove my point, but since you cannot reply anyway, I'll leave the Google option to you.

Secondly, people have to know that 90% of the...

Actually it was a Crackdown orb, and that was Halo 2's logo, the silver logo and everything. Looks like Ryse was in the corner, Forza 5 and some other interesting looking games.

As for Crackdown 3, could just be done internally, Microsoft Game Studios is rather large.

No it wasn't, lots of gamer's love entertainment. We haven't stopped consuming it, it's obvious that something like that has the potential to be successful. I find it odd how so many people love Blu-Ray on PS3, and watch things like Netflix and other services on every console, yet Microsoft up's the anti with Xbox One and all of a sudden it's a bad thing?

The Xbox One will have 90% of the same games as the PS4, they'll look the same, play the same,...

I don't think it was mainstream media, as those outlets were all very positive, it was Microsoft's fault for not being exactly clear, and then social media took that and ran with it.
