Your privacy inside a house is what you're worried about? Do you think Microsoft will have people watching millions of Kinect cameras 24/7? I think where people lose privacy now days is outside, everyone has a phone with a camera these days, there are cameras on traffic lights ect..

Also, always on is where if you lose connection you cannot play the games, this is different. At least try to understand that there is a huge difference.

Thank goodness it wasn't Xbox 720, I didn't love Xbox One, but at least that's growing on me, not sure the same would be said about 720.

Nice! I hope we get to add more people to the Party Chat, often times we'd have a clan member or two who wouldn't be able to join in.

I think most people are going to want to see what kind of games they bring to the table, the ones who made up their minds before May 21st can just continue to complain about a console they were never going to buy anyway.

I have Kinect right now, nobody has ever spied on me, I also have a PS Eye that's always on when I use my PS3, nobody spy's on me or sees me there either. I also have a Wii U, the camera is right in my face, yet...I feel perfectly safe, same with my 3DS.

Guess it's relative, but people are really going to need to find better things to hate on. Camera's are a part of our lives, and in all honesty, we've lost more privacy out in the world because of cell ph...

Do tell, please enlighten me as to why Xbox One is a loser. Keeping in mind we were all told May 21st was hardware and E3 software, and now the used game issues are dying down as well. Just so you know, you don't speak for the majority, neither do I. So I'd never say one way or the other which console is a "loser", opinions are just that.

How can we tell if any of them will be successful? let alone a winner....

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, but we don't know so much about these new consoles, price, release dates, release games ect... To declare any of them the "winner" at this point and time is just wrong.

People could just not buy it if they wanted to vote with their wallets, I buy pretty much every COD game, but I wish I had skipped BO2 and MW3.

Only time will tell if it's a success, no amount of praise or complaints will change that.

Has anyone noticed that people on this site never are happy with anything in regards to gaming?

When it comes to COD, the games can be fun for a lot of people, who cares what coding they use? It's a common practice to keep some coding, all the "top" engines do the same thing, and at the end of the day, isn't fun and functionality more important? Maybe it's just me.

No, you couldn't. If you break the Wii U, that's it. You need the Wii U's Gamepad in order to play most games, and even with the Pro Controller you need the Gamepad to start it up.

I cannot believe we are reduced to arguing over something like this in the first place. Why would it break to where you couldn't get it replaced? I've had my Kinect since launch, it's been on my TV via a mount and has had no issues.

I swear, I think people...

It looks as if they wont charge any fee for used games :) http://www.theverge.com/201...

The online fee is part of life, you want premium services and content, it is going o cost you. Xbox One looks to really improve the entire thing by adding in dedicated servers fo...

I'm on N4G, of course I'm going to get disagrees if I say anything positive about Microsoft. I believe a Facebook poll accurately represents how Microsoft fans feel about the next Xbox about as much as I'd believe a poll from N4G members about the next Xbox.

That isn't even journalism.

Sure, http://www.polygon.com/2013...

Pretty much looks like things will stay the same, save you'll have to authenticate the game in your console if you let your friend borrow it.

4763d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

We don't know the time frame for authentication, and the article says there will be people like servicemen and women who wont need that. If Kinect 2 breaks, you send it back and get it replaced, or if it's your fault you buy a new one. Same as if your Wii U Gamepad broke.

The authentication process might not even be something we see, it might do it while we sleep, so it's too early to really tell.

I'm a Microsoft fan and I'm excited, and I'm sure others will be too when some of these messy misunderstandings get cleared up, and some games being shown will do wonders too.

Now that it seems like used games are just like normal, I expect a lot of the hate to die down, we can get back to just being excited about the idea of that sexy new controller, dedicated servers, 15 exclusives over the first year and a ton of other great things on the horizon!

Thankfully it looks like it wont be. http://www.theverge.com/201...

For me, the only deal breaker would have been the need to stay online the entire time while playing a game. While I'm connected all the time as it is, my connection can get sketchy and drop someti...

"Sources say the authentication might possibly be waived for certain groups that might have extreme difficulty authenticating, like active military personnel."

I think now that the used game issue is being solved, this might be the next big one, but there has to be a way to try and limit piracy.

As long as it isn't a constant connection to play, I'm okay with it, and seeing that our fighting men and women overseas could still be able to pla...
