Just throwing it out there that the Xbox 360 is just getting rumors, they aren't getting negative criticism from developers at all, they are just not allowed to talk about it.
Epic has come out and already said that they cant say anything about the next Xbox.
Well Microsoft hasn't announced anything, but they are actually dominating the headlines with mere rumors. Not saying the PS4 isn't getting hype, but considering Microsoft has said absolutely nothing, they are getting attention and headlines when realistically Sony should be getting all the hype because they are the only ones to announce a new console at this point.
I disagree, I think the first Force Unleashed game was pretty good, and had a fair amount of innovation.
We don't know what Star Wars 1313 could have been, and now we'll never know, but it looked promising, same with First Assault.
I think the PS4 and Xbox 720 will be pretty similar where power is concerned. Microsoft will probably launch an arcade version like they did with the 360, it will be cheaper.
You might hate a subsidized console, but a lot of people would eat it up. I don't believe rumors, but Microsoft had official documents listing one SKU for $299, I doubt Sony would be able to match that with a SKU of their own.
I liked the different SKU's this generation because it allowed more people to jump into next gen gaming without having $600 to spend up front. I still think Microsoft will have one SKU at $400, pretty much what Sony will probably have one at, but Sony has already gone on record saying they are never cheapest.

It needs games, but I do think it'll get a price drop when the next Xbox and PlayStation release.
Wii U will probably have a $250 and $299 SKU.
Xbox 720 probably $299 and $399 SKU
PS4 probably one around $400, maybe $450
This is terrible news, mostly because it looked like we might finally get a decent couple of Star Wars games with 1313 and that XBLA shooter.
LucasArts was pretty bad at giving people what they wanted though, KOTOR 3, SWBF3, Jedi Academy 3 and a new Rogue Squadron as examples.

Nah, they already had a pretty good launch that was on par with the Xbox 360 and PS3. I don't think anyone expected the Wii U to light it up the way the Wii did, mostly because $249 is a price point that attracts everyone, where as $300 and $350 will only attract a more core centered gamer, or long time Nintendo fan waiting for their first HD console.
Nintendo needs to just show off some great games, maybe introduce an Achievement system, and show that their online can comp...

Anyway, I preferred Mike Tyson's Punch Out to the Mr. Dream one. I bought this off the E-Shop for $0.30 and it still plays great, just forgot what Soda Popinski's tell was before he punches, got my butt whipped pretty bad.

Not sure why there is so much hate for this thing, Sony redesigned the PS1, PS2 and PS3 a few times.
It says they have something big in the works, and they wont be rushed to show it until they are ready. I don't remember a time when people were so impatient, I'm excited for sure, but the reveal will be soon enough.
Already the best and most natural controller in my opinion, just need the better D-Pad and it's all set.
They could use a Lite version, and without a need to run virus protection ect... It wouldn't use a lot of resources. In fact it would be awesome and stable.
Epic already released games on the PlayStation 3, it's not like they hated Sony or anything. The only franchise not on PS3 was Gears Of War, which Microsoft published, funded and advertised for.
Got a good feeling a chunk of developers left Epic recently because MS probably got a new contract for Gears games next gen and they didn't want to be stuck doing Gears games for the next decade.
I was just curious as to what you were talking about? Epic and Microsoft have a great relationship and Microsoft has really good relationships with most third party developers, which is why they've been able to take advantage of timed DLC and things like that.

There is no such thing as bad press, rumors still keep Microsoft in the headlines when Sony by all rights should be the ONLY headline because they have actually announced a console.
I wasn't trying to defend anything, just stating a fact. People act as if by showing off the PS4 alone it'll kill every other console coming to market.
