I think it's pretty clear that Sony looks up to Nintendo and pays a lot of homage to Nintendo as well. Just look at the dust fragments in Super Mario Brother's, you'll see the Sony logo, the triangle, square, Zero ect... That is where Sony got that idea from.
Also, in Japan Smash Bro's is called something like Nintendo All-Stars Battle or something similar, and that is pretty close to what Sony ended up calling their brawler. I don't think of it as a bad ...
So because I'm not into Japanese games there is something wrong with me or I cant be a gamer? I've already bought Gears Judgment, Lego City Undercover, Tomb Raider, Bioshock, God Of War, Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3.
I also have Destiny, GTA5 and The Last Of Us pre-ordered, so I think I have a wide range of games that I enjoy, it just might not be the same as your tastes.
My PC is terrible, honestly I just wanted to kick back in my recliner and play some of those retro games on my TV. I actually have a Genesis, NES, Super Nintendo and PS1 emulator on my PSP, which is fun for when I'm on the go. I have like 10 different memory units with 100's of classic games on them.
Well I already have God Of War Ascension, the only other one I'm buying is The Last Of Us, everything else is kind of aimed at a different type of gamer then I.
Well I'm not sure it was trying to compete with the PlayStation or Xbox brands. I own a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, but I'm also going to get one of these so I can run emulators through an HD input. I love retro gaming, but it was difficult to hook everything up at once, so something like this will be perfect.
Everyone who has been riding the "indie" wave should be on board for this, those developers finally have a cheap console to work with.
Actually we have had no official announcement from Sony in regards to the PS3 outselling the Xbox 360. The last time they both came out and announced numbers Microsoft was ahead, it was only one site that claimed otherwise, and no confirmation has been given.
That being said, the original Xbox only sold 25 million, to jump up to almost 80 million and 26 million Kinect's is impressive. Nintendo sold less than 24 million Gamecubes, and went on to sell 100 million Wii's,...
These articles are funny to me because they act as if Microsoft should be in a hurry to announce or show something. Sony jumped the gun, otherwise we wouldn't have seen anything from either until almost E3 time, which is totally normal for a new console.
Considering you cant even put a pre-order on the PS4, I think Microsoft is safe from having to rush or change up what they already had planned. The only people who are really impatient is the media and in some cases game...
I'm pretty sure they have all of their studios hard at work on games for the consoles. The Wii U came out five months ago and is still on pace for what the PS3/360 did this generation, which isn't bad at all.
I highly doubt too many people thought the Wii U would be lightning in a bottle twice, the higher price point and lack of software have hampered the console, but it is a nice system and I am enjoying it, just want more games.

I'm going to get one for the same reason I bought a PSP, emulators for classic NES, SNES, Genesis and PS1 games.
No, I never sell any of my consoles. The PS4 isn't going to be backwards compatible and there will be the inevitable lack of games around launch, just like with all consoles for the most part, so I'll hold onto my PS3 and Xbox 360 because you never know when you'll want to play something on one of those. Cant forget great titles like GTA5 coming soon, without BC, you'll need your old consoles to play those games.

I love the Wii U, the possibilities are endless and when they start cranking out HD versions of Metroid, Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong, everything will be fine.
The bottom line is the Wii U can outperform the PS3, which has some nice graphics in its own right. We just haven't seen them used yet.
LOL, no. Nintendo has never been about graphical power, they are more about gameplay and fun. The Wii could have and should have been "crippled" by the 360 and PS3, but it wasn't.

I pointed this out earlier today, but had Sony not jumped the gun with their announcement of the PS4, nobody would be reacting this way when it comes to Microsoft and the next Xbox.
