To be fair though, they didn't lose it on a single thing or two, they lost it because of multiple devices and pieces of hardware that they released at a high price point and then basically abandoned in short order.

Sega CD, Sega 32x, Sega Saturn, which was originally going to be a 2D machine only, but they rushed and added extra processors to make it 3D capable because of the PlayStation's release. Developers couldn't program for it, they announced it at E3, then...

The new enemy is clearly pressure cookers, maybe they should outlaw those?

It should be a PS3 game only, am I the only one who feels ripped a bit when they release current gen titles on next generation consoles? A good example of this would be Twilight Princess on the Wii, I bought that with my Wii the day it came out, but it turns out the Gamecube version was better because that was the console it was being developed for originally.

I think I'd prefer to play the game on the console it was planned/developed for in the first place. That would b...

The title of this article is perplexing, is it asking which console with have the cheapest price?

I think it could depend on SKU's, maybe Microsoft opts to go with a cheaper Arcade version again? I could see something along those lines for $299, which would cause a price drop from Nintendo and the Wii U.

I don't hate them, but I think I really started to dislike them when they got a monopoly on the NFL licensed games, no competition breeds complacency and doesn't allow for innovation.

Some of the other things I didn't really have much of an issue with, I loved the Mass Effect series, loved Dragon Age 1 and 2, some hated 2, and while it lacked story wise, I thought it looked great and was easy to play.

They tend to milk things, but they are a bus...

Just so you know, there are just as big of Microsoft fans as there are Sony fans in the world, some just prefer the Microsoft brand and their games.

The specs will be pretty similar, a lot of things will be pretty similar, but if Microsoft has a console that is priced good, looks good and is backwards compatible out of the box, that will impress a lot of people right away. Once they dismiss DRM, and announce it'll play used games, a lot of people are going to want one. ...

Call Of Duty is the most popular game out there right now, so it would make sense, but we have all heard the rumors about Microsoft and EA, so perhaps we'll just need to wait and see?

I do think Microsoft realizes that a lot of people bought COD on the Xbox 360 because that version got maps first, so it would behoove them to keep that up, maybe they will get timed maps on both COD and Battlefield? They do have a lot of money, I wouldn't mind seeing what a next gen COD...

Gears Judgment is different, but I enjoy the faster gameplay, and the weapon loadouts are the most balanced they've ever been. You have to pick your weapon tactically, you can kill someone and pick up their weapon, you can go after a power weapon and there are a ton of other ways to play.

Gears 3 still has a online community if that is the style you enjoy more, I like how Judgment changed it up and you can now drop down off buildings and things like that. I think a lot de...

No, the majority of their consoles have been spot on, people now look back at the Gamecube and saw "Wow!", but it wasn't really that way when it launched. I think the Wii U will end up fine, but I am not looking forward to all the negative articles around all the new consoles later this year, could be rough before it gets better.

Thank goodness, the 5 maps are pretty good and I like them, but it got real old just doing one after the other in order every single time.

Agreed, it isn't even the latest rumor, but it is the rumor that will still get the most views unfortunately.

Again, this is a prime reason we haven't had an official next Xbox reveal, Microsoft knows consoles start to slow down when the next version is announced, they'll also probably be forced to announce a price cut on the current 360's which means less money for them on each unit sold.

Looking forward to see what the next Xbox has to offer, congrats Microsoft on a generation played...well played indeed.

This article basis the fact that Microsoft "doesn't listen" on rumors and speculation that the next Xbox wont support used games and will be DRM.

There are also rumors stating the exact opposite, but why bother with those right?

Sheesh, Microsoft has a lot of positive news lately for the Xbox 360, the growth of Xbox Live is something extremely positive, and now this. I can see why Microsoft wasn't in a hurry to announce the next Xbox, I doubt they ever expected such success this generation. Congrats to them, not like Nintendo should feel bad about the Wii, it did manage to see 100 million units pretty much as a gaming console only, I realize it offered stuff like Netflix later, but the power years of the Wii were...

This is the reason they will continue to charge for Xbox Live next generation. I think overall people just associate Xbox Live with a quality online gaming setup and experience, it doesn't really matter what the competition is doing, and the competition is actually doing something similar and doing it well, but people just link Microsoft and a solid online service as one and the same, 11 years of great service will help you accomplish that of course.

Congrats to them, th...

I clearly said "if the latest rumors are true", it's right there in my first bit I wrote, but it'd be foolish to think Microsoft wont have a plan to get as many games and developers on board as possible.

So I'm hopeful, optimistic and excited to hear what's going on.

She is one of the top voice actresses, she was Bat Girl on the Animated series, Timmy Turner on Fairly Odd Parents, Bubbles on Power Puff Girls and so many others! Oh, Raven from Teen Titans.

She was the main character Juliet in Lollipop Chainsaw as well, so she gets around and most people probably wouldn't even realize how often she's in shows or games, she does the singing for Meg on Family Guy as well.

Well if the latest rumors are true, then you can just pay the $60 fee and publish using the Windows 8 app on the next Xbox, that would be huge for indie's and anyone else who wanted to get into making low budget games.

Skyrim has been dead to me for a while now, I beat Dawnguard when it first came out, and beat Dragonborn when it first came out, I've already got every Achievement you can get on the game, think it took me a year and a half of playing a couple of hours here or there to do.

I'm always looking to the next big game though, so hopefully it's announced at E3?
