I'd say the same exact thing, did I personally think The Walking Dead was Game Of The Year in 2012? No, I did not. It didn't mean I enjoyed the games I enjoyed any less for them not being named GOTY.
To be fair though, showing off a multiplayer mode isn't going to combat a new console being shown off.
I'm interested to see what The Last Of Us has to offer with it's multiplayer, but I highly doubt Sony is trying to counter MS's reveal with this information.
The blurred video teaser of the PS4 is attempting to do that.
I agree that is nice, but I don't know if we'll see it. Unless Microsoft was blowing smoke about it not being ready?
Could be a very interesting event.

Microsoft has always shown their console at an event before E3, Aaron Greenberg already said May 21st is all about the next Xbox. If Microsoft is smart, they'll do what Sony didn't do, show the console, show games running on said console. Save 99% of the games for E3.
Well it's literally square, I wonder if they regret possibly not showing the actual console in Feb? If Microsoft does show the next Xbox tomorrow people will be talking about it nonstop.
These types of article headlines always spark controversy, honestly there are so many different outlets that give out Game Of The Year Awards that a lot of games will get the honor.
We haven't even seen what's coming out on next gen consoles later this year, the competition could be fiercer than people realize, if there is a new 3D Mario game on the level as Galaxy 2, we'll get GTAV, we've seen Bioshock Infinite, which is one of the highest rated games this g...
So the guy who started all these idiotic rumors is now backtracking on some...seems legit /s
Anyway, from what we've heard about the Illumiroom, it's years away from marketability, not sure they'd show it off tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the big day, no more rumor and speculation #XboxReveal
Anything Forza is pure gold, hopefully they can continue the quality of being the highest rated racer into the next generation.
Nice, I remember playing the Dreamcast online with dial up and thinking it couldn't get any better, then Xbox Live came around and blew everything else away.
Looking forward to seeing the innovators natural evolution of Xbox Live.
1.Release date and price tag
Wont happen, they want all positives and it's too early for release date and price, we'll get a "holiday release".
2.Confirmation of always-online
This is one that might happen, they should come out and deny it, but looking back at the Xbox 360, it was listed as "always connected", which could be taken wrong now days.
3.Exclusive games
I wouldn't count on a lot of exclusive ...
Looks good, but it turns out Kevin Conroy is in the game, but not Batman. Which is weird since we heard he spent 10 months on the game.
Also, no Mark Hamill as the Joker :(
I like the Vita's hardware, but with two new consoles coming out this year it's not something on my list to buy this year. I wonder what might have been if Sony just released the Vita, keeping it as powerful as it is, but cutting out a lot of the other stuff that I don't feel it needs, just needed to be a powerful handheld device with two thumb sticks. That is what made the PSP great, fun device that played games and no gimmicks. I bet they could have released something like that f...
I think the transition will be slow, you have 160+ million console owners between the Xbox 360 and PS3, those people don't just up and go away, so third parties will still develop games for at least the next couple of years.
You have consoles that are supposed to be easier to develop for, so we shouldn't have the extended development times for games.
Due to ease of development, games should be able to look good at launch, not 2 years later like most ...
I think they might have some destructible environments! As for those saying the graphics wont be improved...how the heck can you tell? It's like seeing an outline and then judging that.
Why do they list rumors? It's funny because an article titled "The Next Xbox, Everything We Know So Far" should have some facts, but since Microsoft hasn't let anything leak, the page should be blank, not filled with rumor.
Then it'd be more powerful, plain and simple. Just like if it turns out the PS4 is more powerful it'll be more powerful. In the end the difference between the two will be minor, fans will just look to pound their chest over which console can get an extra spec of dust on the screen.
Hasn't even been revealed yet and it needs saving....wow....lol
I was hoping to avoid that.... I was so happy when they dropped it from the Uncharted series after the first game.
Could be a game?
The thing is, at least from where I'm sitting... Sony didn't show the PS4 yet, they are obviously waiting for E3. Those shows are only so long, and Sony needs to talk about games, and other launch items when it comes to the PS4, they'll also probably want to talk about the Vita, and possibly the PS3 as well.
Where as if Microsoft shows their console tomorrow, they can focus 100% on the actual games, which is important in my opinion, and wont leave them scrambling...
