Well because one unprofessional person working for EA says something negative about the console they should scrap the entire thing huh? Consumer confidence would be shot, and Nintendo would go down in flames.
In business, you will have people who don't like what you're doing, you must overcome that and not let it affect the product itself. When you listen to what this guy from EA says, especially at the end, he sounds like a little kid, especially because he says &qu...
No offence to the UK, but I'm strictly talking the United States, which is the largest single market where video games are concerned.
If Microsoft actually shows the console, it'll go up for pre-order everywhere, and especially in North America where they do a lot of business, that would be a huge jump in my opinion. Not sure Sony is allowed to do pre-orders here in the states until they show the actual console off.
I'm just being optimistic, but as I said, none of Microsoft's first party game studios are going to be doing entertainment, Microsoft has other studios for things like that. I believe they can coexist, and Microsoft has the money to ensure that.
Rumors are just that, but honestly I never believed the DRM stuff for a second, the games industry is always in flux, so it's quite possible some of Microsoft's studios are behind, games do get cancelled, but that isn&...
One might agree if the dates didn't line up so well, I have a feeling this is going to be pretty big news and it involves SE, they will most likely be at the big #XboxReveal
Well they could just add Sonic and Tails and maybe one other character to the new Mario Kart, and if they do, day one! It's a day one either way, but honestly I love the Sonic Racing series by itself, the new Transformed game was actually a bit better than the last Mario Kart in my humble opinion anyway.
So basically you are basing these things off rumors eh? Nice!
They have their own entertainment studios that are completely separate from the game studios. Do you honestly believe that all of Microsoft's studios are equally behind? That would be a heck of a coincidence.
I think you've bought a little too much rumor for my tastes, we'll find out soon, I think people around here are gonna start listening to that old band Humble Pie! #XboxReveal
Well Class4 is a zombie MMO by Undead Labs that was supposed to come to the Xbox 360, but looks like it's coming to the next Xbox now, and Lionhead is supposedly working on a new IP MMORPG for the next Xbox, so things indeed do and can change.
Microsoft getting something like this would be huge, but I guess we'll find out soon. N4G is going to be a fun place to visit after the #XboxReveal
Sure, Versus not being exclusive, an exclusive game for the next Xbox, either would be a megaton. It's more games, next gen games, so of course I'm excited and I just like using the word, never even knew it before coming here.
It'd be foolish to think Microsoft wouldn't have at least a couple of these "megatons" between the reveal and their E3 show.
Not sure why they keep paying this guy, but wouldn't mind a woman on stage at the reveal. I think the Kinect 2.0 thing is correct, but I thought we were past all the always online DRM rumors by now.
The waiting is almost over, Christmas for gamer's is just a mere few days away! #Truth #XboxReveal
Square Enix is supposed to show off something next week, the same time the next Xbox is going to be reveled...megaton incoming?
Maybe it'll happen at the next Xbox unveiling? Rumor had them working on something exclusive for Microsoft, but even if it's something that used to be exclusive to another platform and now coming to a Microsoft platform, that would be a megaton.
Next week is going to be interesting for gamer's!
I kind of doubt the Wii U's situation will be unique, but I think the next Xbox and PlayStation will kind of start the same way, sell well at launch and taper off afterwards. I'd look for the PS3 and Xbox 360 to outsell the newer versions for at least a year, maybe longer.
Gaming is actually making money however, this is a nice bit of data on the industries growth.

I liked the demo, and that was without playing campaign aspects, not saying it's a Game Of The Year contender, but it might surprise some people. If you are looking for a decent and fun shooter to play with friends online, this could tide you over until GTA5 or next gen consoles.
Sometimes when I read articles about Fuse and Insomniac I feel like they are getting treated poorly because they went multiplatform, which is a shame really. The games mechanics are sound and fr...
Do you actually think they're going to say "We plan to support games and media"? Not sure how'd you'd expect them to announce something like that. Since none of their first party game studios have any damn thing to do with entertainment, I'm going to say said studios will work on games like usual first party studios do.
I have no problem with Kinect 2.0, liked the first one, thought it needed better tracking, but overall as an option it was fine. Son...
I think we'll have to wait for the actual next Xbox reveal to gauge anything, my hope is that they open up pre-orders right after the event here in the states, get a jump on Sony and let people pre-order the console.
I have no doubt the Microsoft reveal will be watched in record breaking numbers, people are curious, for one reason or another, and that means they will all tune in...just like me!
So excited!
It's a good feat for sure, but I doubt Microsoft is upset about it, they managed to secure a large section of the market, dominate North America and more than tripled their install base from the original Xbox. Xbox Live continues to grow, was up 15% and sits at over 46 million users. That is what the business world calls an upward trend.
In fact news of the next Xbox has caused Bill Gates to reclaim the worlds richest man title. You also have to factor in money making, I...
I prefer the closer fought generations, it means that nobody gets cocky and everyone strives to attract that extra gamer.
These numbers are pretty irrelevant at this time, and numbers shouldn't really matter to gamer's anyway. Things will get very interesting if the geography stays the same or about the same next generation. I've been a relatively happy gamer this generation and I owe it all to not being stuck to a single console, but rather all the consoles, it&...
That isn't even close to all of Microsoft's studios, and Black Tusk is strictly core, they are said to be working on 4 brand new IP's concurrently, including a huge new AAA game on the same scale as Halo.
Rare didn't actually make Kinect Sports 2, it was Big Park, which is in the list, but it neglects to mention that Rare only got a credit for overseeing the making of the game, which means someone watched Big Park put the game together. Rare split into two st...
Nintendo seems to be getting good support from Ubisoft, and it looks like ZombiU might be getting a sequel. It sucks that EA are being jerks about things, who doesn't think SimCity would be a blast with the Wii U Gamepad? Anyway, Nintendo is at least being proactive and getting exclusives from Sega and Ubisoft and reaching out to other third parties.
They could never do that, people who would have the original Wii U wouldn't be able to play games built for a higher end Wii U, understand what I'm saying?
They released a larger screen with the 3DS, didn't improve the specs inside. People aren't NOT buying the Wii U based on specs, it has no games right now, and this is traditionally the slow time for games and consoles.
