Thankfully, all these embargo's will lift and we'll hear more and more about the new games coming. I too never doubted this, I mean did anyone believe it wouldn't come to the next Xbox? lol
How many times did we hear E3 would be for games? I mean they said it over and over and over, yet people freak out because they didn't show 10 new games.
I think showing Forza 5 and the new Remedy IP, and confirming 15 new exclusives, 8 of which are new IP's, is awesome!
I know people will quip and say "How many will be Kinect?", but in all honesty, they didn't seem like they were using Kinect much for gaming purposes at all, mostly for...
I think they were waiting for the Xbox One to be revealed, which makes sense. Not sure why people thought it wouldn't release on the PlayStation 4 anyway?
I love the design, I didn't like the CGI reveal, thought it looked like an old VCR, but when you got to see it, it actually looks like a super high end PC rig, which is pretty cool. I also like that it looks like it'll vent air pretty well.
Day one! I just wish you could pre-order, when I finally got through to Gamestop they said they cant take pre-orders till there is a release date and price point.
This was what I was waiting for, developers are allowed to talk about new games. E3 is going to be amazing!
"We care very much about the investment people have made in Xbox 360 and will continue to support it with a pipeline of new games and new apps well into the future,"
The XboxOne isn't backwards compatible, so they will most definitely support it, and why not? It still sells.

This is supposed to be the huge AAA core title!
Awesome controller, D-pad looks much improved. Hard to top the 360 controller, but looks like they did.
They aren't going to close up shop, they're making money on the 360, and adding new features as well. It's cheap to make, and they haven't even dropped the price yet. Imagine a $99 Xbox 360? And if EA already said they're supporting it, then there ya go.
What first party Kinect games were there over the last couple of years? Aside from Fable The Journey which was being worked on by the second team of Lionhead Studios. Rare didn't even make Kinect Sports 2, that was Big Park.
So their first party studios must have been working on Xbox One games, and considering the new Kinect seemed more for apps and media than gaming, I'd bet almost all of these exclusives will be "core".
They said they'd be showing the games at E3, it was an hour show that conveyed what they wanted, they showed off exclusives, new tech and what the box can do, best of all, they actually showed the console itself!
They even announced 15 new exclusives over the first year, 8 new IP, and they seemed to use Kinect for only media functions. What more could you ask for? 3 weeks till E3, but Microsoft came out swinging!
Loved that they started off showing the console, console looked sharp. Loved all the things it can do, 300k servers for the next Xbox means everything will use dedicated servers.
15 exclusives over the first year, 8 which are new IP's, and to top it off, Kinect 2 seems to be more for controlling the interface and Skype than for gaming. Everyone should have been happy with that reveal, it zinged, stayed fresh and we get a freaking Halo television series!
...
What a great pairing! I like this idea more than a movie, because they'll have greater creative control over this as a series. Loved Forward Until Dawn.
Awesome! Loved it, so detailed! Day one!
Wow! People were worried about the next Xbox not having exclusives, they get 15 in the first year, and 8 brand new IP's.
Also, they seemed to show Kinect more for other aspects rather than gaming! Awesome show, cannot wait to see more!
One box to rule them all!
Looked great! New IP confirmed!
But it's not a slow news day, there is going to be a console reveal in a short amount of time, I'd constitute that as a HUGE news day in gaming.

Look into Class4 by Undead Labs and the MMO Lionhead Studios is working on. Rules change, and MMO's were something missing from this generation, I think with new hardware, it's entirely possible to get them on consoles and the next Xbox in particular.
Wish they would do pre-orders here in the states, when I finally got through to Gamestop they said the law requires a price point and release date.
It's a day one purchase anyway.
