A lot of conflicting reports going on, I'm sure they will clarify just like Sony when it comes to used games.
There were things I loved and hated, I loved that they showed the console itself, I dig the design, it looks like the more modern high end gaming PC's these days.
I loved a lot of the features they showed off, not everyone will be interested in that, but when would have been a good time to tell people about those things? Better to get those things out of the way, save all the games for E3, and blow people away.

Basically the game will be tied to your console, or maybe even the controller. So we at least got rid of this bad rumor, I think it's pretty sad how these things get mixed up because of journalists.

You got to see the console, Kinect 2 comes with every console. I'm sure the specs will be saved for E3. Or maybe they'll trickle out some of the info before E3, don't need to blow their load on one conference.
Well according to IGN, it's only slightly bigger than the current 360s, and it has no external power brick, it's all internal.
Am I not a gamer then? Because I was impressed, I knew going in that the show was short, and we wouldn't be seeing a ton games, but we still got to see a new IP and Forza 5, as well as a ton of other interesting aspects.
I think they could have shown more games, but I'd rather E3 be all about games.

Conflicting reports now say that there is no fee, so hopefully that turns out to be true. I signed up for this, $10 is $10.
It's understandable, but they did say that E3 was all about the games.
You have to wonder if they were just a little too excited to show off what the console could do, but I think patience is a virtue, really looking forward to seeing what they have at E3.

So glad that it isn't DRM, that was one rumor I'm glad that died out. The fact that they're releasing 15 exclusives in the first year alone is impressive as well, and 8 are new IP's, Remedy's game looks very intriguing and unique. So I'm pretty excited, the controller getting a better D-pad is also something I was hoping for.
I love watching TV, but the 15 exclusives, and 8 new IP's launching in the first year are what I'm really excited about.
Well to be fair, it's not DRM, it's not always on to play games, they came out and said as much.
Always on Kinect because it's probably tethered to the console, it's like a camera on the Vita, 3DS or Smartphone. It'll be optional to use with the interface, as you'll be able to use the controller.

How many times did we hear they weren't showing a lot of games at this reveal? It was a console reveal, not a game reveal. They got the point across that it's powerful, has a lot of features and games will look amazing.
I'd wait until E3 before I complain nonstop. I mean I guess you cant please everyone,but actually showing the console was huge in my opinion. Very pleased with it.
That is a brand new D-pad, it's almost like Nintendo's which is amazing!
The old D-pad was on a swivel and sucked, this one looks miles different.

It's mandatory installs, but from the looks of it you wont need the disc after, just say what game you want to play and it loads it up.
They already announced Achievements will carry over.
They in fact do supposed used games, and we don't know 100% what Sony's stance is on used games, but you will be able to buy used games with something similar to an online activation code, we need to know more before basing anything ...
Ya, I'm on it, but they were honest and told me legally they cant take pre-orders without a release date and price point.
Wonder if they'll offer a 1TB drive version as well, would make sense to offer the 500GB console for like $399 and a 1TB console for $499.
Not too bad though, sure beats the Wii U's 32gigs.
Also, I'd throw in that we don't know about what the PS4 has to offer, they could offer the same amount of HDD space and then people who complain about the Xbox One's storage would have to do the same about the PS4's....imagine that?
