Wow, I mean it was a launch title for the Wii u, which had zero install base. Did they expect it to sell 4 million copies when there were no consoles in the wild? It's that mentality that makes me dislike EA.
I think in the end it's just an excuse, something bad happened between Nintendo and EA.
Hopefully Bayonetta and Snake!

Not only is this the typical Summer drought, but new consoles have been announced, or soon will be in the case of the next Xbox, so expect sharper declines because people will want to save up for new hardware and software.
This is like going in for a face-lift at 12 years of age. Point being that it's way too early to be messing with anything on your face, and it's way too early to count Nintendo out.
I think with a steady influx of games, and a sweeter price point Nintendo could still do very well, and they do have a lead in the next gen race already, software is up for them, 3DS is on fire, I think Nintendo is still in good shape.
There once questioned E3 strategy l...
I surely think Smartglass will continue to be something Microsoft utilizes, but we wont see a ton of games utilize it because not everyone has a Smartphone or Tablet.
I enjoy it on the Xbox 360, but I think it's a tad presumptuous to say that is the focus at this time.
Third parties and Nintendo has always had a rocky relationship, ever since the NES had a chip that third parties needed for their games to work on the console. Nintendo would only allow companies 5 of these a year, which was down from the probably 15-20 they were used to putting out. Nintendo helped save the gaming industry with this, because there was no quality control in gaming until the Nintendo Seal Of Quality and these chips.
Then Nintendo had such strong first party s...
Well in my honest opinion the long generation contributed to some of the game woes, but Microsoft was delivering next gen games in 2005, and for the first five or six years they put out a ton of great games, while Sony struggled for the first couple of years to put out anything worthwhile.
I'll also say that I think Microsoft had the stronger lineup in 2012, where as Sony does in 2013 no doubt.
In the end they both seem to use different tactics, if Micr...
Well the Halo 4 cutscenes were the best looking this generation in my personal opinion, hopefully with better tech we can get better emotions from the characters and that translates to better games.
Looks like I can experience E3 without ever leaving Florida! This was a brilliant idea, I know it comes off like I'm D-riding Nintendo, but why hasn't anyone else ever thought of this? I can actually see Microsoft and Sony trying something similar in the future.
Hopefully it turns out as amazing as it sounds, because I remember when they introduced the 3DS at E3, I wanted to pick one up so bad when they were letting people see and hold and play them, now if I could h...
Looks like the Lionhead MMO might be a completely new game, they are looking for someone to "re-imagine" an existing franchise, which is probably Fable 4.
I did the same damn thing, hated MW3, thought I'd give Black Ops 2 a chance since I loved the original, but Black Ops 2 might as well been called something else, doesn't resemble the original game at all.
Things are starting to fall into place, I don't think Microsoft gets credit for releasing both their consoles with incredible launch lineups, I mean the original Xbox had Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, NFL Fever,Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Dead Or Alive 3 and Jet Set Radio Future, while the Xbox 360 had Kameo Elements Of Power, COD2, Perfect Dark Zero, Condemned, Prey, Dead Or Alive 4, Amped 3, Project Gotham Racing 3 and Quake 4!
I think Mi...
The simpler COD for sure, COD4, WAW, COD2 ect...
Dedicated servers would work, but I feel like Activision wont want to pay for those year after year. Since COD games have a strong community for years and years, it would render those games useless after they cut the servers.
World At War was solid, but COD4 was probably the best, and it also had the most even multiplayer, not really anything that was so overpowered everyone used it. In World At War everyone used MP40 and Juggernaut, it got really bad in the beginning.
I feel like it might be a little too early for the Game Of The Year talk, we haven't played these games yet, although they'll probably be great!
I think competition will be tough all the way around with huge new next gen titles coming out, Destiny, Watch Dogs and a ton of other games not even announced yet. There is also Bioshock Infinite which has scored very well with sales and Metacritic, and GTAV is releasing as well.
Kind of fun to speculate thou...
This is like a WWE Triple Threat Match! People were counting Nintendo out, but instead they are actually bringing their top titles to everyone! The Best Buy deal is pretty sweet, the Sonic exclusivity is a very nice addition too.
Where as Microsoft and Sony will focus heavily on new hardware, and yes some new software, Nintendo has nothing but games to show off, and these are some of the games we've all been waiting for.
Actully, that looks freaking sweet!
Nice! So many Wii U games are going to come out towards the middle and end of the year, but this one was one that I was excited about since very early on.
