I never said anything about first party studios, but it's more than clear third party developers wont have 2 different teams developing one for Xbox One and one for PS4, so the logical thing would to think most games will be developed on the less powerful system, and ported.

I'm not saying the PS4 will get inferior games this generation like last, I'm saying they wont get taken full advantage of, sort of how the original Xbox never got taken advantage of, even th...

Cool, Sony fans can continue to beat their chest in triumph! My question would be, will third parties develop on the less powerful Xbox One, and port it over to the PS4? That would be easiest, and that is traditionally how developers work, since it's easier to just port it, rather than re-work it for a separate console.

Just something to think about, and I actually believe both will be pretty stunning in the games department.

Did you not read the Wired article? Microsoft has 300 thousand servers ready for Xbox One, all games on the next Xbox will be supported by these.

"We are months away from the launch of #XboxOne & policy decisions are still being finalized. When they are, we will let you know."

We don't have a clear picture yet, and that's bad, but not something that they cant recover from. If Xbox Live on Xbox One has dedicated servers for every game, exclusive content and all that, I'm all for paying a fee, I don't have an issue with that.

I n...

Sony didn't ship the PS3 with headsets, did anyone in the Sony camp freak out? Didn't Sony and Nintendo both make mistakes? You don't think if Microsoft wanted to ship the console with a headset they would?

As I said, Sony started off this generation in a terrible way, ended up okay. Microsoft hasn't even started yet, we have a lot of information left to get.

Nice, I think extra options and features are a good thing. Bring on E3!

Well they showed some cool stuff, NFL, Soccer and Madden and COD, they're getting COD stuff early, and might be the only place to play COD on dedicated servers. Hard to say for sure, I mean there is a lot of negative press around here, but when you watch the local news or read the newspaper it's all positive.

I could see Microsoft really surprising people with a price point of $299, it's clear they used cost effective parts, and the new Kinect doesn't have an...

Actually two years ago they said you could use Kinect, but that they wanted people to be able to experience it with a controller as well.

I could see Kinect being an option, we heard if you bring up your controller a shield could come up, or it might be a mini game option, we just don't know yet.

Nice, and they mentioned two years ago that Ryse was going to use a standard controller. So maybe Kinect will be optional? I do know the new Kinect looks like it works so much better than the original.

More games and options are always good.

If that were the case, why allow games at all? Why not come out with a completely different device to compete against Roku?

They need to show their games, and I'm sure they will.

There is a huge difference, core gamer's were still buying Halo, Forza, COD, Battlefield and core games like that. There was only a few vocal people complaining, I had an Xbox 360 since it's launch and have had no issues with their releases.

That being said, they do change little things all the time right up until the release. Nothing is finalized as far as fee's and online only.

The thing is, the Cloud and online is going to obviously be where th...

Good, that is what companies are supposed to do, anyone who thinks little tweaks aren't done right up until the actual release of these consoles is foolish.

So there is clearly enough time to make things right, and if Sony has taught us anything this generation, it's that you can start off rough and finish strong. Pay attention to the consumers.

Well for once I'm glad to have been part of a tad bit of gaming rants. I didn't go overboard like a lot of people have been doing, but I did message some of the Xbox people on Twitter and sent an email showing that I'm not in favor of things like that.

Anyway, hopefully they add used games being able to be played and traded.

Didn't these same people speak and say Kinect would be the next Sega 32x? Not sure what happened there, but I remember a lot of people being upset and claiming one thing or another.

The thing is, I wouldn't count out the next Xbox.

Major Nelson Tweeted that there is many months before the Xbox One launches and nothing is finalized. So I wouldn't bank on anything being written in stone right now.

I guess Microsoft should just pack it in, a Twitter poll didn't go their way.

The controller's D-pad that was designed by gamer's, for gamer's is also positive news in my opinion.

I saw that interview and a few more, actually they are saying you can get the lesser single player experience without online, but the console was built to really ramp up gaming experiences when you play online.

One of the reasons the experience is better online is because developers can use the Cloud to increase AI, NPC's and things like that, while not taxing the GPU. I believe this is why games like Destiny and Watch Dogs are so online oriented.

The PS4 isn't backwards compatible either, and they haven't exactly said 100% that used games are going to be allowed, saying it's up to developers.

I honestly think used games will end up being allowed on the Xbox One and PS4.

To be fair, it was all a rumor to begin with that they had something planned for May. The guy who started that rumor is the guy who said Ilumiroom would be at their reveal.

I think it's quite possible Microsoft knew fans wouldn't want to wait almost 2 months for what they consider to be part 2 of their reveal, which is E3. So they had it a few weeks beforehand, there is obviously a lot of mis- communication, hopefully they get everything worked out, and I'm kind ...
