Just because you may agree withheld writer of this article does not mean we all do. I think that an upgraded mid-point update has lots of benefits, not least all to the PSVR releasing in October. One can also make the argument that upgraded releases every three or four years mean that the developers do not have to ramp up for a brand new console every five, six or seven years and throw out their existing development tools for a whole new platform. This may actually mean that development ...
The picture itself can hardly be described as sexist as clearly the model does not think so and gives her approval by posing for the shot. I suspect that the picture is part of a scene or of a character in the game, and if so, the accusation is premature as unless we know the context we cannot judge.

Your post is offensive and unnecessary. Stop being so infantile and make better contributions.
Agreed - People tend to forget that Sony is a company that has been at the forefront of consumer electronics for many decades now. I am old enough to remember some of their hi-fi equipment from the 70's and I can assure you that it was lovely to look at, built to last and still sounds magnificent (check out the STR 7035 Stereo Receiver from 1974/75 as an example - my father bought it in 1975 and it is still in use today). The high-end cassette Walkmans from the 80's were a joy to use...
Except in this case the amount is not unreasonable. The profits made from the success of GTA 5 is phenomenal. Benzies is justified in his demand.
I have just finished reading Benzies 71 page complaint as filed by his lawyers and there is more than enough evidence here to support his version of events that he has been screwed out of his position at Rockstar North as well as his earnings. Benzies was an equal partner with the Housers and shared all payments and royalties equally since 2009. Benzies is the person most responsible for the success of Grand Theft Auto from GTA 3 onwards and especially for GTA 5 and GTA Online. Of the thre...
Ho hum. Another greatest games in Xbox history line up. I guess it will be until the next campaign in six months time for the holidays. By this time, only two of the games announced for the year will have been released but a whole lot more will have been announced for the "Greatest games in Xbox history 2017". At the rate they are going, all of the games announced for 2014/15/16 will be released by 2018 by which time it will be time to announce the "Greatest lineup in Xbox 2...
It appears that Naughty Dog have taken the best elements of both 'Uncharted' and 'The Last of Us' and come up with is most likely to be the biggest and best chapter in the 'Uncharted' series. A larger, more open world that facilitates more exploring and multiple routes can only add to the experience and enable the second, third and later playthroughs of the SP campaign to be as engrossing and fun as the first time round (or at least close enough).

@ruefrak
Nice short synopsis there - but one could argue that Kratos and the Titans were justified in wantng Zeus and his merry band annihilated. Why would Odin, Thor and Heimdell want Kratos dead for wiping out Zeus & Co.? A bit of a stetch to have Greek and Norse mythologies so entwined but I guess one could also make the point anything goes in a fantasy.
The NX should be released when Nintendo has enough first party games ready for it, and plenty of third party support. One can make the argument that with Nintendo, it is always the first party releases that are more important but it is critical to have enough games on the launch day for the NX and then regular, timely releases thereafter of the many, many Nintendo IPs. The lack of any of these is why the Wii U is being replaced so early.
Yes, the same accusations could be levelled at the PS4 but the Wii U is no PS4 which has had steller multi-platform releases from Day 1. While the really big first party releases have been delayed to this year, there have been exclusives and mainly third party releases and some really good indies to keep the PS4 gamers busy. This is also the reason why the Wii U was not more successful - lack of third part and mediocre first party support (in my opinion).
What a wonderful gesture and how thoughful is this Sony employee!
Alex Nawabi, thank you for being a decent human being.
"Confirmed rumour" - what are people smoking these days? Unless this is a fact confirmed by the likes of Shuhei Yoshida or someone at that level, just ignore.
It appears to be a spoiler tactic designed to try and slow the sales of the PS4.
For those wondering whether they should delay buying the Playstation - don't! Live for now and enjoy all that the console has to offer. There are many games to enjoy and a lot more to come over the next six...
@XiKurapikaKurta
You have got what you paid for both in terms of your console performing as it should, and the games you have bought and enjoyed. The fact that you have ordered a second PS4 shows that you are well-satisfied with your purchase.
Why get upset about a rumoured release of an ungraded console which may or may not happen anytime soon and is more than likely not even planned for either 2016 or 2017? Sony are a business first and foremost and the ...
Sony have been giving us free games for a lot longer than Microsoft and while some of us may feel that recent offerings have been lackluster, Microsoft is giving away games because it really needs to. I can assure you that if the Xbox One were the bestselling console instead of PS4, you would not be getting ANY free games.
Perhaps Sony can do better, I can't see how unless it is willing to give out AAA games released in the last six months as freebies and I doubt this ...
I really think this is a storm in a teacup. Sony is hardly about to introduce a more powerful version of the PS4 in the midst of launching the PSVR or the continued strong sales of the existing PS4. The majority of people (a few of whom actually own 4K televisions with HDR capability) have little to do with 4K at this time and the numbers do not warrant the introduction of a new console less than 3 years after the release of the present generation. What is more likely is that Sony will sho...
Sony has always excelled in hardware design. I am old enough to remember some of their hi-fi equipment from the 70's and I can assure you that it was lovely to look at, built to last and sounded magnificent (check out the STR 7035 Stereo Receiver from 1974/75 as an example). The high-end cassette Walkmans from the 80's were a joy to use and my original Playstation one still works 20 years later. Even now some of the Hi-Res Audio Walkmans blow away anything the competition has.
@FasterTahnFTL1
Agreed but also remember that all the single player campaigns of the three main 'Uncharted' games have not been particularly short and if the campaign for 'Uncharted 4' is anything like that for the second game, we are in for a treat. I suspect that ND will not skimp on the campaign especially if this is indeed the very last game in the series.
The comparision with 'The Order' is silly as that game was nothing like any...
@Gangulo
Are you serious? You really think Sony would resort to such behaviour as scalping on Ebay their latest piece of kit? A ill-thought comment at best or a reflection of your intelligence at worst.
Activision's press release "a return to roots" statement is about the scale of the games as opposed to returning COD to a more plausible setting such as WW2. They just don't seem to get it that we gamers liked the transition from historical warfare to modern warfare in COD Modern Warfare because at the time there had been a glut of WW2 shooters and strategy games that made gamers wish for something new. COD MW took the fps forward with the game mechanics as well as more rel...
