That was a great article. Glad someone spent the time to write it.
But this is like niching yourself into the corner. If it won't play on consoles, no way will it play on my pc. So the only way to play this game is to buy the newest 3 grand gaming rig?
You can keep your game, thanks for stopping by.
I'm glad it got a good score, but how can an overall score be higher than the other scores (graphics, etc.)?
It's a patent infringement case about product activation software, that's why I'm not caring that much. It has no relation to the Xbox or 360.
Sony's lawsuit with Immersion is interesting because it does have a direct relationship with the console. And the battery recall is interesting because people were injured and products caught fire.
But the bottom line is that large companies are in court all the time.
That lounge was so bad-ass looking! I was, at one point, planning a trip to Japan, and this was definitely on my touristy list.
I had no idea it wasn't a permanent structure!
it wasn't a lie. They had a guy from Konami and EA backing up their statements, both of whom said soccer games wouldn't hit the PS3 until late summer '07.
As for the "what reasons do the europeans have to be mad", I should think that was pretty obvious. They threw a party and Sony chose not to dress up. If Sony had skipped E3 that would upset you, right? Same deal.
I understand they're trying to hold back so they can make a grand entrance at TGS...b...
You didn't even respond to the article once, just went immediately into MS bashing. No doubt your relentless bashing of MS and the 360 will sway the minds of many, we'll be selling off our 360's en masse because of your irrefutable attacks.
And now to comment on the article: the other article was not an attack on Sony, it was a truthful statement that you would have to agree with. Sony chose not to show anything in Germany, they're waiting for TGS. That other article said th...
“We’re very pleased to be bringing the next-generation edition of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 exclusively to Xbox 360 until late summer 2007,” said Hans-Joachim Amann, Head of European Product Management at Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “The power of Xbox 360 takes our critically-acclaimed franchise to new heights of realism, playability, and fun. We know true soccer fans will enjoy the new experiences that Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on Xbox 360 will offer.”
behind this. Did money pass hands here? If so, what exactly does that agreement say? And interestingly, the Winning 11 guy did not announce a soccer game for the ps3. He just said they could build one. EA already said not until the next version comes out late next year.
You had better pray that Sony announces they're in production by the time TGS rolls around! Can you imagine if they announced production wasn't going to start until October?
I downloaded the cartoon, and I did like it. I think kids will love it big time. Now I'm hoping Rare can pull off a great game.
Let's face it, Pokemon games often sucked. But this seems more Animal Crossing/Harvest Moon than Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh.
"Do you have a contract with (console maker) saying that this game will only be available on (console)?"
That's an exclusivity agreement. Is that so hard to ask these game developers?
That MS brought a strong showing to Europe, and Sony didn't. Sony may have announced their intentions to hold back until TGS, but that doesn't make the Europeans happy.
As for that Konami soccer story...they're still not saying when they'll have a soccer game for the PS3. EA has already announced it will be late next year.
I don't know when we'll get the answer to this, but soon would be good. But I suppose the answer comes when the game hits shelves.
MS angry at Sony for taking the overheating issue to a whole new level. "Sony competes with us over everything!", noted an astonished (and anonymous) MS rep. "I mean, we settled for four flashing red lights...Sony does one better by actually injuring consumers and causing the product to catch fire!"
But seriously...not good. That's almost six million batteries so far!
I'm shocked, I couldn't stand playing this! I actually landed on the back of the truck without pulling the parachute...then pulled the parachute and I was 100 feet in the air!
I didn't like the driving, go try drive the boat, it was terrible.
The only positive was the shooting people, I did like the shooting and targeting.
You don't mess with people's football (soccer to us in the states). These football fans people are going to go into the stores, see a gaming console they can play football on, and buy it.
I agree that the cell-shaded look doesn't play well with me either...but this game may look a lot better while in motion. In a still image my eyes automatically move towards the lines.
I like driving games, and without the rumble feature, I think it will seriously detract from the experience.
Don't you think it's kind of late in the process for Sony to still be tinkering with their product?
