In the original pgr you could race minis through the hills of San Francisco. I loved that.
So for a grand I can watch 50 first dates and the fifth element? Wow!
I like the 5th element, but it's not a grand kind of like.
I'd like to see a top-down perspective as an option, I think it would play better like that.
This site is much improved over the previous site, where people would just spam for half a page.
As for MS's commments...well, obviously it's not just a blu-ray player. But I do believe that Sony is trying to market it as a blu-ray player first, game console second. Sony has put all their chips into the blu-ray basket, and their ship will float or sink based upon the publics adoption of that product.
Of course it's photoshopped. But it's funny.
I still wanted to play this game, so nice to see it on the list. I would like to see Mercenaries make the list.
I really like games being made for Live Arcade, would like to see a lot more of them.
Are you saying Microsoft calls the 360 or the original Xbox a pc as well, and they also get the tax dodge? If that's the case, this is the worst tax policy I've ever seen implemented.
You'd think that under the definition of game console, there'd be a picture of the ps2.
I guess it takes a while to compile. I think the 360 was still having shortages in April.
Regardless, there's 360's available in stores now. MS really needs to start bringing out the AAA games to build their base quickly.
Not a clue where the info comes from, other than an anonymous Sony source. That's why I titled it rumour. I just thought it was a funny read.
Are the robots meant to be the central characters in the movie? Or is this a "humans" movie that discover the robots?
I can't agree with your logic. A blu-ray player is not worth a thousand dollars if it's in the ps3 and sells for 5-600. A Ps3 is not a 500 dollar pc. And it's not the same as a 360 either.
You're trying too hard to justify it to yourself if you say it's a 2,000 value in a 500 dollar package. I mean, that's a paid television show kind of deal you're making...and we all know how much of a deal those tv ad show products are.
First, there is a 500 dollar version, so the question is a little off.
Second, I have the feeling from the article that they're going to game stores to ask the question. And although I don't know how you'ddo this otherwise, the fact is you're running into those hardcore gamers you were tired of listening to in the forums.
I've got two personal examples of this. My brother in law loves his ps2, and didn't know the price of the ps3 yet. I told him, and it put hi...
In Japan the ps3 will be sold for market rate...as in merchants can charge what they want. That sounds ominous to me, especially early on.
I can't believe this game got so much hype. Was I the only one that (tried to) play Indigo Prophecy?
...it's a financial analysis. Don't take it so personal, what they're saying is really obvious.
"The PS3 costs a lot. That may affect sales."
What are you arguing about, anyway? You may as well say fire is hot.
Agree/disagree is well and good, but some of the responses are becoming...well, offensive is being kind.
So I was thinking the spam response could also be used for offensive posts?
Umm, calm down, little dude....
What he said is valid...that along with the internet, you open yourself to the perils of the internet.
As stated by Sony earlier, all PS3 games will be on Blu-Ray. Even if they don't need the space, developers apparently aren't getting that option.
But anyone should be able to see this for what it is. Games will be higher than 60 dollars. How to make people less upset? Suggest that it would be reasonable to sell them for 100 dollars, then explain how you would never do that to your loyal consumers.
It's too much cash, Sony. I can buy new dvd's for 10-20, used...
