There seems to be a common misconception that this tech is going to be massivly taxing on Azure as every Xbox One will suddenly have access to 20x computational power.
Think about that for a second, say there's 16 players in a game... the 20x computational ability is only processing the data once and this same processed data is sent to all 16 users. No match is going to be able to hit 100% capacity, never mind 100% of the time (in the demo it took quite a while to build ...
Well the reality is at the moment they're doing it for Microsoft, of course in future (as a middleware company) they can implement their technology with any company or developer.
However lets be intellectually honest here, the current job listings 'desirable critera' include "Experience working with the Xbox One SDK" and "Experience with the Microsoft Azure platform"
