@s45gr32 - Do you even realise wireless k/m are horrible for gaming? For a start you can not press two buttons at the same time on wireless (as it only allows for single input transmission)... so you can't strafe forward, crouch walk, or jump strafe etc...
Anyway it's been proven time and time again k/m gives a big advantage on FPS. I've had first hand experience where on Shadowrun our console team never won a SINGLE game against the PC team.
I...
ARK runs at 20-40fps on my 3.2TF card at medium settings, we've been told the game is GPU limited on PC (CPU usage sits at 30% for me)... although to be fair the average PC CPU is significantly faster (above 2.5Ghz dual-core Intel).
Going by where the game is at today I would think the PS4 will run it much better due to the GPU and unified RAM advantage, I trust Rapczak when he says they're somewhat CPU limited for consoles but I think he's just being diplomatic. ...
That's not a fact at all, you're both completely wrong.
Professional factory overclocking does not result in a shorter lifespan, you're getting confused with an enthusiast overclocking their component without adequate cooling (or clocking too high).
An i7 4790 is a factory overclocked i7 4770k, it doesn't have a 'shorter life' at all.
Where did you hear that the 6% XBO CPU overclock shortens it's lifespan?
Would prefer 720p (upscaled) 60fps all day long to 1080p 30fps, in every game. I'm annoyed that 1080p is now the 'target' instead of a smooth solid framerate. The main difference going from BF4 on last-gen to current-gen was the framerate.
Play GTAV on PC at 60fps and it feels like a totally fresh game that plays completely different (much better).
Basically on current-gen consoles we can look at pretty visuals while static, for the experience t...
Anyone who played Shadowrun on X360 knows just how large of an advantage k/m has over controller on FPS games.
Those of us on the console side never won a single match, not one. MS killed off their cross-platform play after this was established.
Contollors can be better in some genres, so I hope Sony/MS do make cross-platfrom a common thing this generation.
LIVE to PSN cross-play would be awesome although I can't see that happening (main...
PES2015 ran at the native desktop resolution (instead of native monitor) so some users experienced the issue of only having 720p as their maximum setting. Once they changed their desktop resolution to 1920x1080 the game allowed 1080p.
Simply the developers fault for not using the monitor to set the default resolution.
FFXIII had a locked 720p framerate on PC (had to be circumvented by editing settings files).
Resolution and framerate locks a...
@Sweep14 - It would be really cool if you looked at links before commenting:
Adam Bhatti: "Xbox One #PES2016 will be 1080p"
yewles1: "You mean FULL 1080p or 1360x1080?"
Adam Bhatti: "1360x1080 is not 1080p."
I wanted a TV console so I bought one, the only reason I choose Xbox over PS was due to having more money and time invested in the 360 over the PS3. For superior performance (and a more mature online community) I have a PC, I'll pick up a PS4 when I see must-have exclusive for me.
I really would not be satisfied with one platform, if I was forced to choose it'd be PC all day long.
DX12 will give my i7 CPU a 300% boost :) You're completely right about the click bait, not just on N4G, but 'internet journalism' in general.
How very original, suppose we should all sell our PCs because of a shoddy Batman port?
Game looks f'n awesome, especially the 3rd screen, although objectively it doesn't 'destroy everything graphically'... I mean it doesn't even have anti-aliasing, there's other problems, but that's the most obvious.
I suppose Cindy-rella would say that though:
"All multiplatform titles are superior on ps4"
"Ps4 is the best platform for gaming"
"Id prefer 60fps or more"
"Ps4 ...
Very well said! You're absolutely right, the worse part about this baiting is they're wasting valuable interviews, when we could be learning about the developers and their games.
Every other Frostbite 3 game has been 900p or less on XBO, this NFS is new generation only so I expect it to be much more graphically demanding, most of the graphically demanding titles this generation are 900p on XBO, so that's how I draw my assumption.
At the end of the day it's pure speculation.
Did gamingbolt ask every single developer about 'eDRAM problems' on the Xbox 360? (eSRAM is the direct evolution of that).
It also shows a distinct lack of technical understanding that it's the weaker Xbox GPU causing a lower resolution in games. eSRAM is a high-bandwidth memory solution to not using GDDR5.
Going by how games on Frostbite 3 have preformed so far one can only assume this game will be 1080p 30fps on PS4, and 900p 30fps in XBO.
Yea I really loved the closed alpha but it felt a LONG way off a final product. I knew the beta was coming around fall, but definitely did not expect a fall release for the game.. I actually thought it was another year out.
Ah well I'll hold off on buying until they fix the inevitable Ubisoft release day bugs.
Have read a lot of bad news about MP, kinda sad considering Halo 2 was hell of a MP game back in the day... I only bought MCC to play through the campaigns (having never played 4), was a flawless and very enjoyable expereince for me, I would have gladly paid the price just for single player.
It's a pity MP was such a disaster for those that wanted to relive that expereince, I think 343 just went overboard with their ambition.
"Also, the PS4 has 8gb of GDDR5 but it has an extra 2gb of ddr3 as well ... The 2gb of ddr3 may be the reason there is an extra 1gb of GDDR5 flexible memory,"
HAHA this comment is absolutely hilarious, you must not be aware GigaBITS (Gb) and GigaBYTES (GB) are two different things. 2Gb of DDR3 = 256MB of DDR3, not 2000MB like you think... There are 8 bits in a byte. LMAO!!!
I suggest you take a refresher course on English literature to improve your reading comprehension.
At no point did I insinuate that I actually pirate any content, I pay for all my games. So....
I am not a thief. I do not take what I have not paid for. I do not rationalise stealing.
Speaking to logic.. this developer said it's okay to pirate (even facilitating it with no DRM) with the hope you will one day buy thier game, a court of law c...
It's more akin to a store with the motto: if you can't afford this food take some for free, and please if you enjoy the food give us what you can.
I'll quote CDPR:
"For some people, piracy, it's in a way trying the games because...some people treat it [like] some kind of a trial. Some people just cannot afford it in the full price. And ultimately, I believe that if we treat these people right, then at some point, be it mid-price or maybe ...
Uh oh b1naryB0SS thinks GPGPU is some magic hidden power Sony's console holds... in case you didn't know any language that allows code running on the CPU to poll a GPU shader for return values, can create a GPGPU framework. (i.e. Xbox, PC or any CPU/GPU setup can use it)
