Read those steam comments... by a vast majority, its people moaning about the tamed dino rebalance... sorry guys your tamed level 20 raptor doesn't insta kill wild level 120 rexes anymore.. it's frankly laughable that people are going crazy at the developers for fixing an ridiculous unintended bug (tamed dino skill levels disproportionately scaling to make them super powered).
Some legitimate problems that objective players mention are:

We knew in 2014 PC gaming revenue surpassed all consoles combined to become the largest gaming market. I've stated it here a numerous times... and you can imagine how that went.
"PC hardware market might have dropped to a historic low"
What they fail to mention here is the PC GAMING hardware market is still double that of the combined consoles hardware market.
Consoles reign supreme in AAA title sales.
Digital ...
Piracy is an act of robbery or criminal violence at sea. That is the literal definition of the term.
Corporate propaganda have too many believing that copying digitally or physically protected content (aka copyright infringement) is equal to theft or violence as sea. That's hilirious.
OT: Companies have the right to protect their content, people have the right to any and all information freely. SO it all depends on what YOU value more.
LMAO games fry GPUs and CPUs, what a ludracris assertion, when components run hot THEY SLOW DOWN to prevent heat damage (you see this as drop in FPS).
Old or fauly components, electrical surges, overclocking or dust blocking fans... these are legitimate reasons for fried components not playing a damn video game HAHAHA
I have this game on two PCs (GTX770 & GTX970) both with i7-4790s, and on Xbox One.
I can say with experience Xbox users are getting a much better run at 'early access', the game is MUCH more stable. Yes sub-hd isnt great, but if you had to compare that to the graphics which many PC users are dealing with you'd feel very happy.
For a cheap console the game gives much better PERFORMANCE for the COST.
"Working on the PC version, then scaling down for the rest, is very rarely seen."
That's literally how it works on every video game that has ever existed, that's even how it works on PC versions too.. best possible setup then scale back.
I wonder how they build game textures at 1080p then scale up to 4k for 'PC versions'.
It runs more stable on Xbox One than it does on my GTX970 PC (Obviously doesn't look as good or achieve as high frames).. but judging on overall stablility it's better.
I've had crashes on Xbox but they are not that common... This game has by far the most community engaged developers of any early access game, it's insane the amount they add very regularly, and most of it based directly on player feedback.
"He's a dirt poor son of a bitch"
Man that's disgusting.
"expect some kind of apology and maybe a free game or two."
Yea, figures, F that poor bitch... gimme some free games LMFAO
On xbox the graphics are not great, on PC it looks absolutely stunning.. but yea the game is good fun.. some of my friends play it on low settings (which looks like a 90s game) just cus its so fun.

Also, the PC gaming market generates more revenue than all of the consoles combined:

Every benchmark shows Windows 10 uses less RAM than both Windows 7 and 8. It uses 1.5GB when idle on the desktop, game requirements that say 8GB are factoring in the Windows OS overhead, which has been proven to be less than 7 and 8.
Nearly all modern games I've seen benchmarked get 1-3 fps more on Windows 10, it's not amazing but it's clearly not any worse.
Still in EA, takes them a long time to update with new content although to be fair when it comes out it's really well polished. The core game was done since day one, it's really just waiting for new perks, bosses, weapons and maps... Anyway I think it's a while off completion.
I think it's been clear since day one that the PS4 would win this console generation in hardware sales, oddly MS generates more software revenue in gaming.
It also weird that nobody considers PC... Chinese firm 'Tencent' has more revenue than both MS and Sony (in gaming), couple that with Steams estimated 1.5billion revenue, and the PC platform the largest by a long way.
I know this is a 'console manufacturer' article but really I find it ...
This is a poor argument, my Xbox console hasn't been used for gaming in over a month yet it's on each day for the TV passthrough, theres 3 accounts logged into XBL.. so MS says they have nearly 40 million 'active' users and that stastic is seen to be legit.
7 days ago they Steam set a new record with 11.6 million concurrent users. Now a week later it's 13 million. Are you really suggesting that this 1.4 million rise is also ridiculously inflated by peopl...
PC will be the definitive edition, as always.
I stopped paying for XBL a little over a year ago after 10 years, now that most AAA multiplats hit PC I saw little reason to continue. Also, family sharing means I could play online, and just not get the 'free' (paid) games and deals for gold.
I enjoyed the service although never was too happy about paying for it, the only way MS is getting me back as a daily XBL user is to improve the PC ecosystem (namely games), they've already confirmed it won't be a paid ...
Do you even know what delusional means? Point out a single literal delusion in anything I said, or even in anything the other guy said.
The UI is a basic placeholder, they've stated it'll get a complete re-design. They've also explained the optimisation/content issue, namely they need to have all core systems in place before concentrating on optimisation (new systems could destroy previous update gains).
I fear performance will ultimately be it's downfall, I get 50-60fps in wild areas and 20-25fps in large base areas, I'll be very suprised if they manage to get a consistent framerate in a...
Reality check, Respawn (Infinity Ward) created the CoD franchise, Titanfall was a commerical success. It released on PC too, which is by far the largest platform. Sorry to break it to you but the game was, and could be again, successful without PS.
It bemuses me that someone wouldn't want a game to release on thier platform of choice out of spite, I expect you're in the minority, I'd like to think most gamers would want the option to buy a game (which many agre...
XBOX is now windows gaming too you know. I'm an Xbox fan, I'm not losing any exclusive, in fact I'm gaining more options.
Really DELIGHTED that MS are finally pushing this.
Who genuinely cares about the Xbox One, 360 or whatever other piece of plastic... is it not the games we care about? Do we prefer closing games off or opening them up to larger audiences.
PC is already the largest gaming platform, sadly it took that happening ...
