Well console gamers do it to themselves. They are relying on a single point of access, if it goes bad or for some reason MS or Sony feel like implementing something new then theres nothing console gamers can do but accept it. If Sony and MS intend to drop support for current gen systems online after few years, console gamers cant do anything about it.

I think its common for people to only have 2-3 different passwords. in this day and age there are so many places we subscribe to, keeping a different password for every place would be impossible.

Online services
software on the platform: if they dont want u using something they may even ban you.
Backward compatibility: no gaurantee if the thousands of USD worth of games bought this gen will work on the next box.
no mods: you need to pay for stuff like DLCs to get extra content, its different on PC sometimes DLCs are free, mods are almost alwa...
I think KB/mouse would make the console look more of a PC.
Anyways i think Mouse/KB is essential for communication. Specially when it concerns games with too many players like MMOs or FPS games with 32vs 32.
Consider a Raid environment where 40 people are in a raid, you cant have everyone speaking out loud all the time. Its the Raid leaders who are giving out instructions most people are typing msgs to each other.

It would end up getting priced 60usd on the Console, the sequels later will be get dumbed down. Do we really need another perfectly good game series to be dumbed down in the future?

Ofcourse anything will be better to play with once you have played an FPS with thumbsticks. Anyways Mouse and Keyboard are the kings of FPS. So it may be easier to aim with Move in comparison to thumbsticks, compared to a Mouse move is still a joke.
Valve always takes their times with games so they dont milk their franchises. I think the concept would get old if we got portal 3 so soon. I would say give it 2-3 years atleast. We really dont want to see good devs like Valve scumb to levels of Activision where the series is milked on a yearly basis.

Simple solution just get the multiplats on PC. Currently over 180games bought on Steam, my library is bought much cheaper then any console and it only keep growing, no worries about not having my games run next gen just because some company and its hardware decisions. Console gaming can only dream to have thats sort of BC.

Not really on console the developer is limited and must make sacrifices to what they originally intend to deliver. Why do you think in GOW3 anything asides Kratos looks low res. Look at the textures surrounding the main character they are all blurry. Anything that is not a cut scene or Kratos doing look good.
