I can't go as far as Pookie and "Suck yo d...!"*LOL* But, if someone is slangin Rockstar...I'm buying...and I ain't lookin for a 12 Step program to quit either! +Bubs to ya for the laugh...and cuz we ALL need them...U 2 Bullet!!!
You answered your question. Because you "hate" westerns it is hard for you to comprehend why someone would like a western themed game. People, in general, are hyped for a new Rockstar game, with a fully realized open world, in that just happens to be in the old west. For those that actually like westerns, this is probably the game that we have been waiting for. The original Red Dead Revolver was okay, GUN was cool, I even heard Call of Juarez was good. But, this could be the quintes...
When it came out it was technically pretty amazing. They actually attempted more realistic physics with cars (for better or for worse for some) and the city did feel more alive. So, I can agree. I think it was the overriding seriousness of the story that might have turned some off...considering that the previous GTA's didn't really take themselves seriously. I, however, liked the story. As you stated...there was a certain lack of the same fun-factor that didn't hold me until the e...
I think I pre-ordered that game...unfortunately I...oops...IT never came!!!*LOL* +Bubs for the laughs!!!
For a basic track all you have to do is drive the tractor around to lay the overall shape of the pavement....press auto-complete...and you have a functional track. Sure, adding alternate routes, extra ramps, etc. is a bit more difficult...but no more so than any other editor that I've ever used.
AND...I could REALLY see a premium (as in pay-for-play) online service for games like Madden. Sure...it would piss some gamers off...but in the end...I bet they would STILL pay for it!
that would be like...I don't know...the RIGHT thing to do!*LOL* There is no debating whether Halo will sell. It has become somewhat of a cultural phenom in it's time. Halo has become to Xbox what Mario, Zelda, and Metroid are to Nintendo...THE reason to own the system.
Will it outsell previous Halo games? Who knows. Will it be THE multiplayer game to beat? Once again...who knows?
Guess we will have to wait and see
If there are people interested in motion controlled gaming AND Sony games...why not? Because it doesn't have Xbox stamped on it? Look I am NO console fanboy. I could care less what anybody else plays...as long as I have the option to play what I want. But, you wish to deny somebody the experience that they want because YOU believe it is a ripoff? Stupidity at it's finest! I could be here all day talking about technological "ripoffs", but I would basically be wasting time bec...
overpriced is when a company far exceeds industry standards for profit margin, per item sold, in relation to pricing. Companies wouldn't be in business without the ability to charge a bit more than cost. However, when a company approaches the point of gouging there becomes a huge issue.
I agree with the publicity stunt celebs that come to gaming events and claim that they are gamers. However, there are some actual gaming celebs. Not just because they play one game, but because gaming is actual culturally significant. Just take a look at MTV cribs and you will see a ton of video game consoles...oh and the mandatory copy of Scarface!*LOL* There was a decent article on Method Man (Wu Tang Clan rapper) and his gaming tastes on IGN. 5881d ago 5 agree2 disagreeView comment
One website gives out a 7.9 and Modnations is a flop? Wow...how easily influenced are you??? I bet money that you will still purchase Alan Wake...although there are scores as low as this! Not bashing Alan Wake, just saying that judging by one website is pretty dumb if you are truly interested a cohort of opinions. Here I actually thought that games were to be played and not just admired for a score! Silly me!
In YOUR words!!! Because in their words Modnation Racers "is a wonderful kart game that blows past offerings away." Not saying that you can't have an opinion...just saying that you can't re-interpret THEIR opinion!
I was hoping that the character models would have evolved since the first showing. But, the tech behind it just seems so awesome! It will be a welcome change from the monotony of Madden. Not hating on Madden, just getting tired of the same look and similar feel. I think I have been playing that game off and on for close to 10 years. All in all, I can't WAIT for Backbreaker! Already paid for with pre-order bonus cash from Amazon. So, if by chance it isn't very good...it will be FREE!!!...
Areas in each level can be turned into your own personal park of sorts. You can add ramps, rails, beams, and various other objects to stick that gap or grind that ledge that looks so tempting. This is more of a step forward than Skate 2, especially saying as though this is not a retread of the same city, but an all new city created to skate. They have improved the off-the-board movement...and you can even beat up (with your board) those pesky pedestrians that screw up your perfect trick by wa...
is the developer for both Modnation Racers and this new True Crimes reboot!!!
but graduates are not the only ones that attend a graduation. Most often the commencement speaker tries to appeal to those that are still in school, those that have yet to get to that level, etc. Either way, it was an opinion...not a bill. I just don't see it as such a serious thing that someone might want the next generation to FOCUS and PRIORITIZE. Plus, I can almost guarantee that some of the graduates knows at least one person that is gaming his education away. I know when I was in co...
Especially the comment about people needing to grow up!!!
They DO add something...whether it is truly a NEW concept is really about perception. There are this "bulletpoints" that Madden drops on us every year. However, if you have been playing Madden throughout the years you will realize that some of those "new" concepts were in Madden games that were long forgotten. Plus, let's just be honest, there hasn't been a true evolution in Madden (at least for me) since the early 2000's. There have been gameplay tweaks that m...
I was just wondering if the mighty EA still has the license to the AFL as well? Or, did the reconstitution of the league free up the AFL for new deals?
I was thinking almost exactly what Enate stated. Plus, there is the issue of or the perception of value for a game. For example, there were MANY people that felt that MAG was overvalued at $60 upon it's release because it was online only and with no story. Now that the price is dropping to $29.99 people are willing to give it a try. This extends to the used game market as well. I ALWAYS buy day one for games that I have huge interest in. However, there are also games that I would like to ...
