Why? Because a game that already includes gay relationships is going to consider showing trailers of those relationships? They've already shown hetero relationship trailers. Those who align otherwise would like to see trailers that interest them...why that would make you not want to purchase a game, I have no idea...
I mean, it is your right to buy or not buy what you want for whatever reason you choose, but the line for forgoing a purchase being drawn at "consider...
I appreciate you telling us the color of the car he bought, as well as the model of the computer he used. Very useful information. If he bought a red Camaro working off a IBM ThinkPad, I'd have been OUT!

Except if I'm understanding this correctly, they effectively did the same thing for Star Fox Zero - Nintendo helmed the direction of the game and Platinum provided the underpinnings. You are saying, effectively, Platinum deserves less credit for Nier for a...
Could not agree more. They could be fine, even though they are so simplistic as to be mostly pointless, but the actual sensitivity or calibration for the controls are perhaps the worst I've ever encountered...so bad I find it bizarre they allowed them to ship in that state. Just give us analog stick control (and not force us to have to swap from Pro to Tablet while playing) and it'd be livable.
As is, on some puzzles you can just flip the damn Wii U controller upsid...
I bet you'd be singing a different tune if you were among the affected and couldn't join those getting lost in Hyrule - there just aren't enough consoles (to even buy right now, much less offer as replacements).
As with everything, the truth is in the middle. It's bigger than Nintendo fanboys want to admit and not quite as big as the detractors like to think...but clearly the issues are big enough that Nintendo has at least acknowledged at least one problem&...
Oh man, it hurts me a little to see how crisp everything looks in those screenshots. I know it isn't yet in a playable state, but if it can even run 1080p well at some point soon I might pause my Wii U playthrough and let my PC take over (so long as a GTX 970 can do the job).
The art style is great in this game, but a lot of little details are lost with the low resolution, and smaller things at a distance can be hard to make out - not to mention things like grassy field...
I haven't played enough of the dungeon bosses (the combat trials are becoming stale), but other things definitely are bothering me.
Really bothers me: I HATE how slow Link climbs, I wish they would have sped him up by 1/3 and cut the meter by 1/3 or whatever. Cover the same ground you would before, just faster. I also reeeally dislike how fragile the weapons are. Kill like 3 guys max and it's time for a new weapon it feels like. I HATE THE BUTTON MAPPING! LET ME REM...
I know what you're talking about, I've had it before. Happens with all game types if you play one genre too much. But I'm not there yet.
It might be partially an inverse-Order 1886 syndrome. I bought that game for $20 after it was crapped on by critics and a chunk of the community and I ended up enjoying it (I'd probably rate it a solid 7.5, and in saying that I'm sure some people will dismiss my opinions all together lol).
I think it ...
I think this is more about how Nintendo's launch of the Switch hardware has been pretty poor in terms of quality control, rather than games in any capacity. If you aren't arguing on behalf of the Switch in face of the issues because yours works perfectly - something I've seen more than a few times - then you aren't one of the apologists this guy is talking about.
Obviously all hardware has some level of failure - acceptable failure rates even - but normally...
I'm playing it right now, but I haven't quite felt the same amazement as everyone else. It is a solid game for sure, no doubt there, but reviews and comments alike praise the game for its addictive quality and how things unfold naturally and so on...and so far it hasn't gotten under my skin. It feels like a good open world game with some interesting climbing mechanics.
It is nice that it doesn't hold your hand (I've died more in this game than any other ...
Do you have a copy already? No new copies available at stores and used copies tend to be about 30-40 bucks through eBay, so sadly not that much savings vs a newer game. I'd like to give it a go, but I'm keeping my eye out for a deal.
It looks interesting. Having not dug too deep, I like the concept and the art looks pretty neat. Given it has a dev from Ridiculous Fishing, I see the ties between the two in art direction.
Also not sure how it could be a killer app for Switch when the article points out it is releasing for several platforms, but maybe it'll end up fitting best on the Switch, who knows.
But I'll try to keep this one in the back of my mind. Looks like it could be ...
If CDPR can play and love Horizon to the point someone on the team whips up a little Aloy/Geralt high-five, don't you think that perhaps it might not be such a disgrace to compare the two after all?
Having played both, I don't think they are overtly similar though. I kind of wish there was a game that was a hybrid of those two - I enjoy the combat in Horizon more, but the depth of RPG mechanics in The Witcher 3 more. I'm still trying to get through TW3 after my ...
That's interesting. Is it because you bought it full MSRP? I get the impulse to do that on full priced games, but that's also part of why I wait as long as I can to buy games and then grab them on sale. Makes it easier to justify kicking aside the detritus lol.
I feel like if I've played enough of a game to know I don't like it then I stop playing and strike it from my backlog. I basically define "Backlog" as games I haven't played at all/enoug...
I wouldn't necessarily say because of the themes listed that those alone make it the most important game this year...I'd say "prescient" is a more apt descriptor in this case.
But so far it is a great game. I've gotten up to level 15 or so and just climbed my second Tallneck, so the world is opening up a bit more. I wish it had a bit deeper RPG feature set, but I am certainly enjoying myself so far.
Or they do believe it is the best PS4 game ever, that doesn't seem hard to believe. I'm only level 9, so have a long way to go yet, but I would say thus far that while it is a really, really great game it probably isn't my personal favorite/best PS4 game either. But it is definitely good enough that I can see why it might be someone else's.
While I believe it is 100% fair for us to say it isn't ours (even while contending it is a good game), I feel it is...
I think it look fantastic as well, I'm enjoying my playthrough so far. But I'd say some linear games do edge it out in terms of sheer visual quality - many may not love the game, but The Order 1886 is easily the most impressive looking game I've ever seen.
I'm in the same boat as you - PC user cranking things to ultra...I haven't seen anything manage to match that one though. Art styles are obviously different between that and Horizon, but 1886 is truly ...
Wait...the first thing on the list is find a Tallneck. You have to go through a sizable chunk of story and quest stuff before you even get the override module to attach to your spear, so doing that as soon as you get it will be hard lol. I'm up to level 9 and haven't even seen one yet.
That maybe should have been the last thing on the list, as other items in there make sense...but for the most part are straightforward and pretty much how you would likely play the ga...
@domonicale - Which as it turns out, he did. He was suffering from a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, alongside mental illness and dementia. He was losing himself more and more with lucid periods coming less and less and had, at most, 3 years left by all accounts and he was already suffering greatly. Try handling that while your health deteriorates AND mental illness, it was likely he felt that was the only way to stay in control of his life.
I definitely feel the need t...
@DragonKnight So they should just remove the mechanic entirely then, yea? If it has no bearing whatsoever...
I mean ultimately it is part of the game and they show off parts of the game before launch. If they shouldn't show this, then why show any other gameplay? Is showing and teasing the fans how powers or exploration work pandering to them? Can't imagine why it matters anyway. If it has no bearing to you, then it doesn't matter what they show in regards to th...
