I disagree. Some may be too expensive. A lot of them are too cheap actually which leads to microtransactions, season passes or full priced DLC. The problem isn't that games are too expensive or too cheap. The real problem is the $60 standard price that applies to pretty much all new high budget games. In order to have reasonable and understandable prices we need to get rid of that standard first.
Agreed. Why don't they just let us download the same version the Xbox players get then. It doesn't make any sense. Just offer different resolutions.
Wow. So you can't even download the Live-Action episodes on PC? That sucks big time. That in combination with the Windows-Store is a big turn-off for me. I'll probably wait and see if MS decides to give us more options with that game on PC.

I took a more constructive approach. I was honest and told them why I used to love Sega and why that's no longer the case. I was pleasently surprised by the inclusion of franchises like Streets of Rage, Ecco and especially Eternal Champions and I was a little disappointed by the mobile questions (Still answered them in detail). I basically tried to be as helpful as possible. In the end I appreciate the fact that they want to improve by asking for our feedback. I want to encourage them to ...
@shloobmm3 & Zeref: It'll probably be a Windows store app just like Rise of the Tomb Raider. You can't launch the exe so you can't add it to steam. No exclusive fullscreen mode only borderless windowed mode, forced Vsync which especially sucks for Gsync and Freesync users. Also no SLI or Crossfire support and it's kinda annoying to deal with different clients.
@castillo: Well obviously it makes sense from Microsoft's point of view. They clearly get more profit by selling it on their platform. It just sucks from the gamer's point of view.
It looks really great. I'm glad it's coming to PC but it sucks that it'll be a Windows Store exclusive. April is gonna be insane though.
From the list I want C. Viper and Sagat the most. Other than that I'd love to see Blanka and Fei Long added at some point.
The tech is undeniably great for gen 1 VR across the board. I don't have a problem with the price of those VR sets. My only concern is that the games for VR are mostly tech demos right now. It makes sense though because a large portion of them is intended to show of VR as a new medium. Obviously devs are facing a lot of new challenges with VR and as a new medium it'll take a while before they figure out how to tackle things more efficiently.
Well fighting games like SFV evolve over time. It'll probably get support for the next 5 years or more so there will be new content releasing for the game for a very long time. I actually think that 16 character is a solid amount of characters to release the game. By the end of September it'll already be 22 and all of them can be unlocked for free.
My problem with all those different mythologies existing in the same world is that there will be different explanations for the same things. For example the world creation. In God of War Ascension it is said that before the Titans and Gods existed the Primordials forged the earth. In norse mythology those Primordials don't exist and the world was consisted of Muspelheim - the land of fire and Niflheim - The land of ice separated by Ginnungagap - the yawning void. If norse mythology was a ...
@SlightlyRetarted: I only voice my opinion there is no being right or wrong here. I'm just saying that I'd prefer them to start from scratch with a new protagonist if they decide to go for different mythologies cause that would allow SSM to free themselves from finding all those answers why the other mythologies sudden appearance and how Kratos would fit in all of that. They could be much more creative in crafting a new story without the need to tie in all those events form previous G...
I just don't think that forcing the story in that direction is the right approach to begin with. I'd love to see what SSM can do with other mythologies as much as you do but why should they limit themselves by trying to shoe-horn the already existing GoW storyline into a new setting. If they'd go with another mythology they should start from scratch and create a new world and a new main character that belongs in this world.
Not only would it be epic it would also make absolutely no sense at all. Different mythologies can't coexist in the same world they have way too many similarities. And even if they found a semi plausible exlplanation for the sudden appearance of the norse gods what would be Kratos' motivation of going after them? I really hope that SSM don't give in to the public demand of introducing other mythologies to God of War cause in my opinion it would ridicule the story of the previous g...
I knew it. Remedy has a history of releasing their titles on PC. Good to hear that this is no exception.
Hell yeah. I was just recently thinking about the possibility of a Samurai Showdown reboot. Bring it on.
It's not so much about how it looks. It's about how it runs and how asset-streaming is handled. It definately should've been on a new built engine imo. Sure you can always modify it and improve certain aspects of the engine but at some point it becomes highly inefficient and you're better off making a new engine from the ground up.
Wait haven't they said that the first 6 DLC characters are going to release throughout the first year of the game. I was assuming that meant we're getting a character every 2 months.
@MachuchalBrotha316: To be fair Xbox One has just started turning into a steambox. You gotta give it some time to stop selling. /jk
On topic: I really like the idea of MS bringing the Xbox games to Windows. Both are MS platforms so it doesn't make sense for them to compete against each other. I'm interessted in games like Scalebound, Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive but since I already have a PS4 and a PC I probably wouldn't get the Xbox One just for a handful o...
