No. No price is going to draw me in when there aren't any games that speak to me. I'd be willing to spend well above 400€ but I'll wait and see what Sony announce for PSVR at E3 first. There really is no rush for me to get a VR headset right away.
Bayonetta 2 didn't sell many systems so I don't see how Bayonetta 3 would be any different. And Nintendo's first party never was the problem to begin with. They need 3rd party support. And they won't get 3rd party support by releasing an underpowered console that forces devs to incorporate gimmicky features like motion control or second screen. If they don't realise that the NX might be dead on arrival.
The whole article is based on pure speculation. You even point out that Capcom is going to keep adding new ways of earning fight money. What makes you think that they can't hit a fair balance for the FM rewards?
Daily bounties will be an inexhaustible source of fight money. Obviously the new modes will give larger bursts of FM but I believe that Capcom can balance it properly so that once you rely on daily quests and online mazches you'll still be able to unlock at l...
Awesome series. I've just recently played through the steam version of System Shock 1. This remaster looks absolutely great. I hope they keep the dynamic Soundtrack of the original.
Calling devs lazy is such an ignorant statement and a generalisation of many different reasons why some games don't run at 60fps. Also saying the PS4 is powerful enough to run games at 60 fps is meaningless because pretty much every console has the capability to run games at 60 fps.
I'm not planning to buy any of them yet. Depending on what Sony has to announce on E3 I might change my mind. Oculus is another option for me but I see no reason to jump on it right away.
I don't think that Sony will leave VR in the Wild. They've invested way too much time and money into it and they seem to be very committed to VR imo.
I still argee with you that it's too early to tell though. I think that the tech is great but the "Wow-factor" won't last for ever. Once you get used to VR you'll need an enticing catalogue of actually good games to stay interessted.
So far I'm not very impressed with most of t...
The price is acceptable when they can back it up with quality games. Star Wars Battlefront is pretty big.
We'll probably find out later today. $300 for the Headset alone would be a good price. Maybe they can sell it in a bundle with the camera and a Move Controller for $400. Sony should include some basic tech demos too.
I'd back that in a heartbeat. I've just recently finished the Steam version. The trailer they showed looks absolutely awesome. I just hope that they'll keep the dynamic Soundtrack of the original.
Well in my opinion GoW 3 already topped GoW 2 in many aspects but I'm sure that Barlog and the rest of the team are working hard to push the boundaries even further.
I can't wait for the announcement trailer. I hope we'll get at least a teaser at E3.
I played it for a bit. It was ok but didn't really grab me (like most multiplayer components of single player centric games).
GoW Ascension was the first GoW game with multiplayer and also the first GoW game with notable technical issues in the single player. I don't mind them adding MP as long as it doesn't compromise the single player.
It seems like VR is going to be flooded with mediocre games and tech demos. I mean the quantity of games is actually overwhelming but you'd be hard pressed to find a handful of quality games.
Microsoft should have a better understanding of how those things can get out of control really quickly. Obviously the sensation seeking media will jump on every potental story. They should try to be as unambigious as possible when it comes to those things. Only give out information to the public when you have a clear message.
Microsoft seem to love confusing people these days.
Awesome game. Can definately recommend it to everyone that likes metroidvania puzzle platformers.
If anything they screwed the casual players. The hardcore fanbase is working out the game mechanics, practicing match ups and picking up new characters to diversify their character-pool.
I agree. I admit I'm a little confused on what role the Xbox One will take but I'm sure MS will clear things up soon.
Well we don't really know what plans Nintendo has yet. It's safe to assume that Sony will continue to do what they do right now as they are very successful with it. I wonder if Microsoft's shift of focus will make space for a new competitor. It's been almost 15 years with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft in the competition.
I strongly disagree with you on that. I'm as passionate about gaming as I ever was and I'm excited about the potential of VR. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that one day we'll dive into fantastical worlds that are only limited by our own imagination.
I am well aware that this is just the first step in that direction and I'm very pleased with the quality of the hardware conidering it's the first time that VR is being attempted seriously. I'll ...
