It doesn't affect me either but it sucks for the people affected none the less. And it potentially destroys any fair competition when there are stronger weapons that can only be unlocked by buying them with real money.
I'll buy the game for the single player anyway but statements like these make me less interessted to even try the multiplayer portion of the game at all.
Agreed. I have no interesst in microtransactions. My problem isn't even that I'm not willing to spend more than 60 bucks on a game. In some cases I'd happily pay more than that just don't sell the game to me in pieces.
If a developer is putting in extra work after the game is finished I have no problem with them releasing it as an expansion but if they're locking out content that is already in the game that's just a cheap trick to ask for a higher pri...
Pretty much. I didn't have much trouble against them yet using a modified 10mm pistole most of the time (which is the first gun you get in the game).
Well bugs and glitches have been part of gaming forever. In fact back in the Sega Genisis/SNES era they were considered kinda cool (at least by me and my friends :D). With that being said bugs and glitches that break the game obviously aren't acceptable but I can live with some minor bugs and glitches in a game as big as Fallout 4 (even though I hope they fix as many as possible of them).
I'm on the opposite of this. Those blank characters have always been the reason why I didn't enjoy a lot of western RPGs. That's why I generally prefer JRPGs. The voice acting of the main character makes me enjoy the game so much more and the fact that I'm playing a character with a past gives it much more depth.
I get what you're saying though since all those things make it more difficult to play as whatever character you want to be.
But ...
I don't think we should ask what games should be but what games can be. Games is such a versatile medium that it should be whatever the creators envision it to be.
I'm about 6-7 hours in and besides some very minor framedrops it's running surprisingly well. I'm usually very sensitive to framerate dips so I can confirm it runs at a very stable framerate so far. I only had one fight with 4-5 medium sized and one larger enemy on screen and I didn't notice any major framerate dips. Maybe further into the game when there is more things happening on screen the framerate gets worse but for now it's pretty stable.
If you wan...
It's too early to say. It only froze once but other than that I didn't have any technical problems yet. I should point out that The first patch is already installed.
Graphics are good imo. Just don't expect anything crazy here. There are some things like inaccurate pre-baked window reflections but that's not a biggie imo. I really like the artstyle.
I'm playing on PS4.
I've just played it for about 3 hours and I'm definately enjoying it so far. I'm pleasently surprised how good the atmosphere is. Unfortunately I've already expirienced a freeze so I had to restart the game.
God of War 4 is probably my most anticipated announcement when we're talking about announcements that are predictable aka sequels to existing franchises. We know they are working on it. I really hope that they reveal it at PSX but I think it's more likely to appear at next years E3.
I wonder i they'll jump on the VR bandwagon with the NX.
Literally half of the list consists of CoD games. No wonder Activision keeps pumping them out every year. Funnily I don't own any of those games on the list.
Trash can? Sega owns an incredible portfolio of unused IPs.
So Sony bought Sega. /jk
@NewMonday: Agreed. The Soundtracks of the old games were awesome.
Have you played the original SotB? Or SotB 2? I'm really looking foreward to this but Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they caught the atmosphere that made those games special from what I've seen.
It's made by former Ubisoft employes as far as I know. Definately one of my highlights of the show.
I've had the game for almost 2 weeks now and I've just found out about some of those in the past couple days (like equipping your companion and holstering your weapon). Never knew about the drunk thing though.
