The first 3 SC games are available through the playstation store as HD remasters.
@Topic: Gears is really great so yeah I would like that on my ps3. Halo and Alan Wake - maybe. But Left for Dead an Fable 3 are crappy games that I wouldn't want to play if I had a 360 so I really don't know why I should play that games on a ps3.
By the way: If I want a game that much I would buy the console and the game instead of dying
@Cloud1983: Would you relax. Jesus. Of course I've played FFX and I didn't like. I don't say that it's a bad game but it just wasn't as good as the PSone games to me. FFVIII was the first FF I've ever played. I have considered it the best game of all time at that time. Then I picked up IX and the VII. I still can't say whicht one is my favorite. Maybe IX and VI. Til now I've played FF V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII and XIII so I think I can say that I'm a cor...
Not exactly right. 4 games can definitely look better due to being on PC. That doesn'd mean they look better on every PC. I've seen Crysis 2 on a friends PC and it just looked terrible cause his PC hadn't enough power.
100% agreed
To be honest: The only thing that should be updated is the PS3 browser. It's still the same crap as it was on PS3 launch.
@PS+ features: Come on Sony. Why in hell should I get a +acc when all you give me are a bunch of free games that I mostly don't want to play anyway and some features for people that are too lazy to sync their trophies. Don't get me wrong I am happy that most of the features are free. But to me that PS+ acc is pretty much useless til now.
I consider myself as a core fan of Final Fantasy too but I still had a lot of fun with Final Fantasy XIII. To me it's the best FF since IX
Graphics seems to be the only thing that creates hype nowadays. To me creativity is way more important. When I look at let's say Bioshock Infinite I really get hyped cause it's contains ideas I never seen in any other game. But with Battlefield 3 I feel like I already played that game a dozen times. Just my opinion.
Not exactly. It's a Cell processor and it can use maximum 7 cells at a time (it's still a powerfull processor). you can search for the difference in the web.
To be honest ... PC doesn't have generations. That means that they get upgraded more often. But that also means that only a little amount of gamers have the top hardware in their PC. And The Developers can't optimize their game to a specific system cause there isn't a specific system. But if you want to see the best graphics available and you're willing to spend some money at least every two years then you get that on PC. Both platforms got advantages and disatvantages.
Top 5 Gaming Franchises That Would Be Absolutely Huge As MMOs ... and would suck really hard. Ok Mass effect as an MMO may work. But Resident Evil and Splinter Cell would be an absolute fail caused by the thousands of players running around. Tron as an MMO may be pretty good though.
The Resistance 2 platin wasn't that hard for me cause I had a lot of fun with the game. SFIV was a real beast (by far the hardest platinum I have). Generally I like it when the platinum trophy is hard to get. Skillwise hard not time consuming hard. I mean 800+ hours for the platinum? This is ridiculous. It means if I play the game 2 hours a day I will need more than a year to get the platinum trophy.
You can compare PC gamers to people that listen to the charts. If it's new they need it but in 2-3 years they don't want it anymore. If you would show, let's say, the first Metal Gear Solid to a "gamer" that only play the newest of the new, he wouldn't even think about playing it because of the graphics. But MGS is still a great game while Crysis 2 sucks. It's like comparing Stairway to Heaven to a shitty Justin Beaver song. In 10 years nobody will know who the ...
My Top 5:
1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2
2. Sonic the Hedgehog
3. Sonic 3 & Knuckles
4. Sonic 3
5. Sonic & Knuckles
I totally agree with the top 5 in this poll. To me Sonic 2 is the masterpiece of the whole series and no Sonic title will ever come close to that since SEGA don't know how to make good Sonic games anymore
The PSOne FF's are still the best in my opinion.
To be honest, I can not see any major differences. Looks pretty good on both DX 9 and 11.
Wow that's an interessting Top 50. I see you've made your gaming experience. First I thought that the top ten will be filled by CoD and GTA (or other Rockstar games) but that right here is a totally other cup of tea.
I still can't get how a current gen game can be considered next gen.next gen game will come out when the next gen begins.
On the same size it looks a little worse than the first Uncharted but on the smaller Vita screen it'll look fantastic. I just hope that they won't go into that touchscreen shit too deeply. I really hate the trend video games are going these days. Motion Control here, touchscreen there, talk to your console instead of pressing some buttons.
@hilyou: When I played Left 4 Dead I didn't like it very much. I cannot even say why it just didn't appeal to me.
On Halo: Nice to hear that. I almost know nothing about it. But what I've seen didn't look bad at all. So maybe I'll get an Xbox360 someday. Gears has always interested me and I'm sure there are some interesting games on the 360 I havn't even heard of.
