It is fun.
Yeah it might not be much of a problem in the end.
While the design may have it's problems (in terms of fitting into people's entertainment centers) I think they've chosen it so that they can get a big heatsink and axial fan in there. This would certainly outweigh the disadvantages imo, because it'll make the console run cooler and quieter. This is speculation of course. An improved cooling solution will also make higher clockspeeds possible.

Man that was an unsettling trailer. Very impressive. Love the first game and Ninja Theory in general so I'm definitely looking forward to this. Would've been awesome if they showed us a little tease of gameplay though. Even 2 seconds of next gen gameplay would've made me much more hyped. But at least next gen games have started to get announced. In a year we'll be playing on next gen systems.
Game looks nuts. Seems like it's Sucker Punch's most ambitious game to date. Can't wait. Ghost of Tsushima and Elden Ring (sadly didn't see anything at TGA for Elden Ring) are my most anticipated games right now.
Honestly didn't expect Sekiro to win, but I'm really happy for Hidetaka Miyazaki and from Software in general. Sekiro is an amazing game. I'm also really happy that Kojima won game direction.

You might want to read my comment again. Nowhere in my reply to Septic have I said or even impied that using videos, reviews or demos to inform your purchase decisions is irrational or unfair.I actually said the exact opposite.
Quote from my reply to Septic:
"Since games cost money and require time to finish I can't blame you for skipping a game, that failed to catch your interest."

I think that 'Game direction', 'Narrative' and 'Performance' are the most likely wins.
Just looking at a couple of demos of the game isn't enough to come to any conclusions, not even the one in the first sentence of your comment.
Since games cost money and require time to finish I can't blame you for skipping a game, that failed to catch your interest. My main problem with your comment is the assertion, that people got tricked into liking the gameplay and implying that it is objectively trite.
This is a bold claim, considering it is...
At the time I thought Bioshock 2 was a pretty good game, albeit not as good as 1. To be honest I don't remember nearly as much from 2 as I do from 1 and Infinite. I recently got the collection so I'm gonna find out if 2 holds up.
On the topic of the new game there isn't much to say other than I'm happy that it's in development. We'll see how it turns out in a couple of years.
As someone who never played KH until recently, I was surprised how little FF influence there actually is in the first game. I've picked up the collection and also KH3, but I didn't get around to play them yet (except for KH 1.5 FM).
I've been under the impression that it's basically a Disney and Final Fantasy crossover, but Final Fantasy only has a very minor role in the first game. Does this change in KH2? If it doesn't I personally don't really see...
I get your point and agree with it in principle. However in my opinion the general quality of 3rd party publishers has drastically decreased in the course of this generation. EA, 2k, and Konami for example released some great games last generation, but are mostly nonexistent this gen for me. And even the ones that still put out enjoyable games are more likely to have gotton worse than better.
1st party games have naturally become more important for me. With that being said ...
Would be more in line with System Shock, but since I love System Shock I wouldn't say no to that.
There is not much to tease about the PS5 at this point. The next thing will probably be a proper announcement event. I think they'll have a similar schedule to the one they did with the PS4.
1. Announce PS5 event by the end of January.
2. Announcement event by the end of February (focusing on detailing their vision for the PS5, showing some games, some techdemos and explaining some of the benefits that the new hardware and software features will bring).
I don't understand why it's so hard to believe that Sony might have a financial interest in releasing some of their first party games on other platforms. The costs to develop AAA games is constantly increasing while console sales are more likely to decrease going forward. Game streaming might not attract many gamers now but in the next 5-10 years it'll certainly take some percentage of the marketshare even if hardcore gamers will prefer local hardware.

Are you ok?
You can't dismantle vehicles at the moment. This feature will be added with the mid-december patch. Right now you can only drive the truck out of the way yourself or blow it up to make it disappear.
Batteries don't run out on streets if you touch the middle zone with 2 wheels. Also BTs don't attack you on finished roads. Could still be the case if the player didn't have the road finished. The game only saves x,y coordinated and the vehicle will always spawn on top of roads, bridges when it's abandoned.
I also think that they've already tweaked the vehicle spawns with the last patch as I had every entry blocked most of the time even by multiple truck...
Got it right but sent it to the wrong account. Never lucky :D
PS4 bc is confirmed.
PS1 and PS2 emulation is easily possible.
PS3 emulation is the only question mark.
BC is one of the few key advantages that Xbox had over Playstation this generation. I doubt that Sony is willing to give them that edge again next gen. Considering the strength of Playstations back catalog I'd argue that it's a much bigger plus in marketing their console for Sony than it is for Microsoft.
In addition it would a...
