@AbortMission: I really have to disagree. If there was anything that I disliked about Resistance 3 it definately was the ending. I really was hoping to get to the world of the ancient chimeras or at least for them to get in the real world. The actual ending was way too predictable. I'm not a huge fan of happy endings just for the sake of it. I especially liked the ending of Resistance 2 because it took me by surprise.
When a new console generation launches a lot of people tend to do these comparisons to justify their purchases. While I think it can be quite interessting to compare multiplatform games at the beginning of the life cycle it is beyond ridiculous how poeple are finding differences when there are none.
On the other hand a lot of PC gamers I've seen on platforms like this love to do the same thing. Bragging about their specs and pointing out differences to justify their inves...
I agree that you can't compare a PS4 or a XB1 with a high end PCs. But we're talking about a huge price difference here and a console (just like a mid-range or low end PC) is more price efficient than a high end PC. I think it's nice that the devs are getting more powerful hardware to work with but we shouldn't forget that graphics aren't everything.

I highly doubt that this game will sell systems. I'm a huge fan of the first Bayonetta but I won't buy a Wii-U for that game. Nintendo's approach to steal some of the core gamers from Sony and MS was half-heartedly executed. On one side they bring a game like Bayonetta 2. On the other side they miss out on some of the most important multiplatform games. Nintendo's true system sellers would be a 3D Mario, a new Zelda, Kart, Smash Bros. and so on.
If you don't want it now you probably never will. I wanted this game since I first saw it at the PS4 announcement because I absolutely love platformers and Cerny has a great track record working on some of the best of them.
I've seen enough of this game to know that I want it. I'll have to wait another couple of months though cause I'll be getting it on the PS4.

Even if you have the budget and you do get a decent rig it's still no reason to switch to PC gaming completely. Why would you want to miss out on console exclusive games and features?
It all depends on individuall preferences. May I ask what consoles you owned/own? I personally wouldn't want to miss out on Sony's first party line-up but I'll get a better PC eventually.
If I would have the money I would get all consoles + a high end PC but since I don't I have to chose.
I agree that the multiplayer should be free. I'm not taking anything away from PS+ cause it's a really great and valuable service but I still think that multiplayer shouldn't be behind the paywall.

So the perspective on the Console version is a bit more zoomed out compared to the PC version. The graphics are pretty much identical besides the lower reolution on the console versions (720p). The HUD is completely reworked so that you can play it with up to four people simultaniously. The problem of the HUD seems to be that it's hard to see when a spell is on cooldown even on a 50 inch TV. Besides that it plays well on a controller. The screen doesn't split apart when allies are far...
@ssj27: Pretty much everything you said is wrong. Most games are overpriced? You can get most games for around $50 day one. That isn't overpriced in my opinion. But that's pretty subjective. You can see it as an offer. If it is to expensive for you then don't buy it right away. Buy it when the price drops. The piracy won't help the price eihter. If anything games become more expensive the more piracy there is.

Developing for PC is indeed much easier as of now but the piracy problem is much bigger there too. To say that the PC gamers are to blame is total bs though. If it would've been as easy to pirate games on consoles as it is on PC we would've have the same problems with consoles.
I think the development on consoles for next gen will become much easier but I fear that we'll have more piracy on next gen consoles as well.
Everybody can play a game on the difficulty he or she wants to play on. That's why there are difficulty options. The only thing I hate is when people play on normal only or even on easy and then rant about a game's AI or something like that.
