Does it still have framerate issues? The original release had a pretty bad framerate and I'm wondering if they did something to improve it. I'd probably buy it again if the problems are gone.
Yeah. It's kinda weird that the headline mentions CoD but not BF4 which was rumored to run at 720p. Let's hope that Dice can confirm that it's running at 1080p native.
Being uninformed about games is another great memory. I remember buying FFVIII without even knowing what kind of a game it was.

The PC version should have the potential to go much further than the console version considering the fact that the hardware is customizable. Most PC games are done with future hardware in mind. I don't see how a gimped PC version is a good thing for PS4 gamers though cause it doesn't make the PS4 version look better than it would anyway.
Well most of the vg-based movies I've seen hadn't much in common with their couterparts. Street Fighter only took the names of some characters, Alone in the dark was turned into an action movie and Prine of Persia lost all of it's charm just to name a few. I wouldn't exactly call that a fan service.
There is not that much of a difference between 900p and 1080p to be honest. Of course it would be better to have every game run at 1080p but it's not that big of a deal really.
When Quantic Dream say something like this I tend to believe them. I'm not saying it's easy to believe this considering how great the Dark Sorcerer Demo looks.
But remember that Quantic Dream did a similar thing with the PS3. Remember The Casting Demo? Everybody was blown away by the Tech Demo but Heavy Rain already topped the quality of the Demo let alone Beyond: Two Souls.
I partly agree with what you said. If MS believe that Kinect is a key factor of the Xbox One experience then it wouldn't be smart to make it optional. However that makes people like me that couldn't care less about motion controlled gaming, skyping while playing or voice control repel from the decision to buy an Xbox one despite being interessted in some of its games.
Microsoft just have to decide if they want to go into direct competition with the PS4 or if they want...
I'm playing League of Legends for almost two years and it's still doesn't bore me. I think that the free to play model will become more popular in the next generation because it has the pontential to create a much bigger community of players. As long as it's free to play and not pay to win I'm fine with that.
I do. I have around 600 CDs in my collection and it's still growing. Yes I do have an iPod but I'm a fan of physical media cause I like to look at covers and read booklets. I even have a couple vinyls.
PC version is set on 1600x900 and the video is uploaded in 720p? Also it doesn't even look like 720p probably because of compression. Impossible to compare with that quality.

Especially when you consider that a game sells most in the first couple of months. After a year or so it probably makes more sense to give the game away for free on PS+ and get the money from Sony plus the potential DLC profit.
I've just finished the first one again and I really like the difficulty in this game. Yes you are going to die a lot but the more you die the better you become up to the point where you can almost spreed run through a level without dying.
What was really weird though is that you have to play with the D-pad. Took some time to get used too again.
This won't work with slow bandwidth though. If it takes longer to download a game than a playthrough it won't work without pre-downloading a big portion of the game.
Also I don't see how it would work with open world games .
A 50GB game would take me about 75 hours to download. I just recently subscribed to PS+ and I think it's a really great service but It's potential is limited by my internet connection.
Took me about 10 hours to download Far Cry 3. And Dragons Dogma will take almost double the time.
I just hope for an original setting. If it's some kind of a tolkien setting RPG I would be a little disappointed.
You buy another one. Or you get it repaired. BC would be nice but you would have to pay more to get it. Or the price would stay the same but the cost would have to be cut somewhere else (weaker hardware, worse quality or less features).
