Dude it's huge. It's almost a whole percentage point. It means that GTA V is better than GTA IV on Xbox 360 but it's the other way around on the PS3. Also it means that GTA V on PS3 is worse than Super Mario Galaxy./jk
No offense to amercan people but USA is probably the only country in the world where the media would rather see a kid playing with a gun than playing a video game.
Their reasoning is ridiculously stupid: "Hey look. All those guys on the screen have killed people and they have been playing video games."
Well guess what? They haven't chopped their victims heads of with a freaking blu-ray disc. The problem is that these people had access to guns.

This is exactly why I hate all this metascore-nonsense and people going crazy over reviews. People act as if 0.2 more meta score means that the game is on another level of greatness.
Can't you just enjoy video games without having to compare everything to anything?
The hype is so huge for this game that even a 9/10 seems like a low score to some.
I honestly don't get why it's so important for people if this game gets 0.1 point more or less in the metascore.
@Maddens Raiders: I completely agree. That's why I'm not saying that one is better than another. I just think a term like game of the generation is unnessessary. I couldn't even determine a personal Goty this year let alone the best game of the whole gen.
@maximus1985: So you can tell by looking at a game that it is the best game of the last 8 years?
That's pretty impressive.
How do you know?
I hope someone can translate that video.
Why is he pointing on Blanka's ass at 1:56 by the way?
If wikipedia is to be believed Contrast, Hohokum and PlanetSide 2 are missing on the PS4 list. I hope Outlast will be availiable at launch as well.
I'm not sure if you are talking about the same game that I've played. There is an explanation for the amnesia. It comes from using the G.F.
And what do you mean with infinite limit breaks? I don't think that you can beat every boss in one turn. Can you explain what you mean?
So you are saying that people come up with excuses to dislike the game although they have no reason to do so? Interessting. But keep in mind that people are different and they have different tastes (which is actually a good thing). Maybe it's nitpicking for you but it can be a real issue for others. I agree with you though that the game would've probably been recieved differently when it wouldn't have come after FFVII. That's the price of expectation I guess.
...
Undiserved hate or not you'll just have to accept that some people disliked the game. There is no right or wrong it comes down to personal taste. I for one loved FFVIII. It's probably my favorite FF (though I can't decide between the PSOne era games).
I really liked FFXIII too and I don't care that everybody is hating on it.
That's just how it is. Sometimes I don't get the hype for a critically acclaimed game and sometimes I enjoy a ga...
I just recently bought Enslaved an really enjoyed it. The only problem I had with it was the framerate dropped really low on the PS3 version at some points. Other than that it was an excellent game.
That's some nice additions. The original Darkness game has become one of my favorite games of all time cause it has such a deep and intense atmosphere. I really hope for The Darkness 3.
Are you working for Microsoft? I'm just asking cause your reasoning sounds familiar. /jk
I'd say Outlast instead of the evil within.
"Jesus and i thought it was a new engine."
Wow. Even Jesus thought it was a new engine?
Of course 1st parties will always try to make their console look good. However 3rd party devs will try to stay neutral for the most time to not ruin their relationship with MS or Sony.
If it really is that important to you to know which console is more powerful I suggest you pick up some tech magazines and try to learn as much as you can about hardware to make your own judgement.
I didn't get the joke. Anyway Knack, Killzone and Watchdogs day one for me.
This sounds pretty much like the people saying that games are all about shooting people nowadays.
