I haven't played any Battlefield game on consoles yet but wasn't current gen Battlefield games all 30 fps on console? Why don't they try to get 1080p 30fps instead of 720p 60fps on Xbox One?
You've just said what you are expecting from a great game and I agree with that but how does it make GTA 5 a next gen title?
@ThePonyCollie:
Are you aware that the Titan is a $1000 graphics card that can't play games by itself and the PS4 is a $400 complete system System?
I'd like to hear your definition of next generation then.
I really liked FF XIII. I really liked the battle system. And I liked the story. I still think that FF will probably never reach the greatness of the PSOne games but to be fair I played those games when I was a kid.
You said you are dying to know how it feels. Maybe some people aren't as curious or hyped for that as you are and therefore are free to disagree with your statement. What's the problem with getting disagrees anyway? It's not like you're losing bubbles for getting disagrees.
@bumnut: What does that have to do with Sony fanboys?
On this screenshots the new one does look much better to me as well.
Downloading since yesterday evening (It's noon where I live now). 89% - about half an hour to go. Can't wait.
I'm so hyped I would probably spend a whole day unboxing it, set it up and looking through the menus.
I really love the idea of the highly customizable Warzones. It should bring a lot of new, fun modes to the game.
@Alexious: You shouldn't get any problems I think.
I really hope you're wrong. But sadly you're probably right.
Don't worry about the movie it'll probably get cancelled anyway like most movies based on video games.
The Division looks nice but it seems to be a multiplayer focused game so I'm more excited for Watchdogs.
It could be a great thing for people that are going to buy a gaming PC. My biggest problem with buying a new gaming PC is that I don't have much money to spend on it. It's possible to build a decent gaming PC for $600 but then you'll need another $100-$280 for windows. I think that SteamOS will make it possible to buy a gaming PC for less money so that's a good thing.
Somebody who has 32GB of RAM in his PC for gaming shouldn't be allowed to talk about specs at all.
The PS2 could do all that.
I'd say it can be a bit more complicated to game on a PC than on a console (be it mandatory online connection, steam registration, Games for Windows, or getting some drivers). It's not a big deal though.
But comparing used game sales to pirated copies is a big mistake a lot of people make (even Microsoft /jk).
A used copy was once a new copie. So someone paid the price for it at some point. Selling it is pretty much like giving it to a friend. Only on...
Even if the smart phones catch up they will probably be double or even triple the cost of the PS4.
Are people really going to use the XBox One to watch TV though as I don't see any advantages from doing so. If I am playing a game and I want to eat my dinner all I have to do is pause the game and turn on the Reciever. I can't see the Xbox doing this better or quicker than pushing two buttons.
I certainly won't be switching between game and movie or something like that cause I either play a game or I'm watching a movie.
The only thing I can ...
People might go crazy about this.
