Don't be surprised if you feel disappointed afterwards. I'm as big a Nintendo/Mario fan as they come, but Sunshine falls way below my albeit high expectations of Nintendo.

I don't know what it should score - I hate scores, but based on my time spent with The Witcher 3 all I will say is it is non essential. Buggy, horrible dialogue, generic themes, but a game (for me) lives and dies on its gameplay, and this game sadly feels trite.

Its slightly annoying. Every fully fledged Street Fighter sequel has been a definitive step up from its previous incarnation, this however (SFV) looks more Street Fighter IV 1.01 than anything completely new. I wait to be proven wrong. Bison looks great - as always.

Damn me and my gluttony. This is the first game I have bought for my PS4 in what feels like an age - GTA being the last. I suspected it would not be my bag, despite all the glowing reviews (such as this) doing the rounds. Roughly 1 hour in I can tell already I was indeed correct, I am unlikely to enjoy it and less likely to give it much more playtime. Obviously a great game for many people but I should know in future to stick to Nintendo, almost all their games have me hooked in the first few...

While I agree to an extent, please don't compare The Witcher 3 to Mario Kart 8 - or indeed any first party Nintendo title. Gameplay, polish and performance come first at Nintendo, The Witcher 3 - while sounding/looking promising - puts visuals first, even at the expense of polish.

WiiU proves that. Great games, look good and perform brilliantly without compromising one another, but a sales disappointment. PS4/XB1 games on the other hand - not including remasters, reboots, etc, etc. Uninspired, inconsistent frame rates, but (on the surface) high resolutions...big sellers!

I sincerely hope this is a joke. A.I leap in TLOU and Uncharted...erm, NO. The A.I in TLOU was shocking, as for Uncharted, bog standard. Personally, I love how PS4/XB1 owners keep changing the goal posts. First it was about resolution, then when that didn't improve enough for it to be noticeable in the average household, then performance, we all know what happened here, now A.I. Face it, your uber powered 'next gen' consoles (of which I own a PS4) are merely extensions of previous...

Nintendo and Konami, working exclusively with one another...I can hope.

This again. God forbid we would go a day without another 'article' suggesting the WiiU needs "salvaged". Fact is, the WiiU has a great library of AAA games, retail and digital, and with more than a good many exciting titles due this year, I'm really struggling to see the problem - unless of course numbers are more important to you than product. Lastly, couple the WiiU with the New 3DS (fair I think), then I would say Nintendo is still leading the pack in GAMES this gen. ...

Is that a fact?

Nintendo is KING of the dedicated home console, still the go to for the best exclusives which marry hardware and software perfectly. IF anybody were to put an end to the console it (in my opinion) should be Microsoft first, Sony second, Nintendo NEVER.

Totally agree. However, hand anybody Resident Evil 4 (GC) and I will be amazed (even today) if any niggle was brought forward. The game is flawless in its original state.

Not even that. Sales - good or bad - doesn't stop Mario Kart being a strong goty2014 contender and even of of the best games this gen so far. It looks great, runs brilliantly and plays even better, yet people still suggest something is amiss? Go figure...

Great, great game. Turok 2 in my opinion even better - minus the wow factor of the original.

Not true. Personally, I couldn't resist buying Smash at full price/launch - being as I am a huge fan of the series. However, a game such as Dark Souls (for example) I would NOT buy even at half price, not because it isn't a great game, no, simply I'm not a fan of the genre.

Way, way too many features - this gen in particular - which focus on graphic comparisons. I mean, how many people are going to be running 2 games side by side and under a microscope? I myself find performance analysis features far more relevant, highlighting consistent or inconsistent performance, I can judge for myself if I find the game visually appealing or not - not that visuals make a game. Can we in future reduce these troll bait features and instead focus more on performance and the me...

Glad to see Affordable Space Adventures getting positive reviews. As for Mortal Kombat X, well, it looks near enough everything wrong with the 'modern' videogame. More cynical product than experience.

Who will be surprised if the final build is a noticeable step down in quality from the pre-alpha build...anybody? Watch Dogs has set a president in terms of propaganda, like it or not. Expect a lot more of this regarding multiplatform releases.
