Can somebody answer me this, please? I've downloaded the date packs to my USB flash drive. If I just leave it as it is will - when playing said game - it recognise this and allow for that improvement, or will I need to move said data packs onto the consoles own hard drive? Anybody...

Point missed entirely! Take away the motion control from Skyward Sword and you lose EVERYTHING which made the game special - if not everything then 80%. "Waggle controls" is what Twilight Princess (Wii) used. The difference between that and Motion Plus are like night and day. Keep trolling.

As I stated previously...SOUL.

Gamesradar wouldn't be Gamesradar if it weren't severely underscoring a top Nintendo title. Skyward Sword scoring a 7.5 still sticks in my throat. These games have SOUL.

Yes, JC3 looks good in that video - make no mistake. My concern however - based on what I've heard, read and seen myself - it runs poorly and plays a very generic and shallow game. Looks good in stills and carefully orchestrated showings however...

Nice list. Now we have that out of the way, can I point you in the direction of its best games, those which look AND run beautifully. So, bullet-points aside, real world terms shows games which look, run and play beautifully...and this is 'underpowered'!? It's like - for a group of people at least - a console and/or game can only be 'next gen' if (performance wise) it buckles. Sad.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - particularly in the shadow of Just Cause 3 arriving near enough at the same time...WHY is the Wii U 'underpowered'?

To those bringing up the review site having Nintendo in the title - hence not surprised it scored so highly, read the conclusion...

It lists numerous faults, split into small and large. The reason however it's scoring so well over numerous gaming websites is its being judged as a whole, and generally people (it appears) are won over by this fairly important component. The whole is everything when deciding if a game is good or very, very good.

Can't wa...

I'd second that. I could also include a dozen or more just from the Mario games as all time bests. Some topics just really wake you up to just how innovative and skilled Nintendo have been over the many, many years. Long may it continue...

You will get those insisting you can buy a PS4 or XB1 for the price, missing the point entirely. It's a tired old game of back and forths.

And I'm sure we will see more added/included in further updates. Nintendo's update over various games have shown this is a developer who listens to criticism and reacts where possible.

Funny how the 'mature' consoles are generally coveted by chavs and/or adolescents, where as the 'kiddy' console is usually coveted by those self-assured enough to know what is good and what is bluff.

Why disagrees? Its like people are disagreeing that the WiiU gets more TV time in your house as opposed to the PS4. Funny they should know this. Or could it be people disagree with the argument the WiiU is better than the PS4 in many ways? Well, it is, via EXCLUSIVES.

I own between 20-30 WiiU games, none of them filler or available anyplace else. That is where Nintendo nail it. Oh, that and the majority of their games are shipped complete and playtested to death.

Wii Remote and Nunchuck is the control method I'll be using, if for no other reason than as an anti self-proclaimed 'hardcore' protest.

Déjà vu much? Also, yes, Nintendo and/or the WiiU really needs some new IP's...I mean, a system in which you experience the same game again and again? Hard to fathom.

Nintendo (format permitting) includes full last gen capabilities without making a federal production out of it, that's the big difference. Sony - via PS3 - first offers it, then pulls it, then semi-offers it...basically a shambles.

As much as I have enjoyed numerous games based exclusively on Sony consoles, I find their hardware horridly muddled at times. Sort of jack of all trades master of none.

Funny haha or funny curious? I don't find it curious at all personally.

Next gen or previous gen, next gen or previous gen....just please, make up your mind!

I was going to buy said game for my PS4, but having read up on Eurogamer's digital foundry analysis I am put off. I expected 60fps locked. Seems instead we get an inconsistent fps throughout. Shocking really. Not particularly a 'next gen' game not being able to run flawlessly at 60fps is a deal breaker for me, sadly.

I don't know if 'strange' is right. The usual Nintendo fare, a strong lineup of exclusive games, polished to perfection and infinitely playable. Hardware B, Games A+. Overall A-. Anybody who (like me) is passionate about Nintendo and owns both WiiU and collection of games will agree - nitpicking aside, exemplary.
