Why not 50 with Splatoon, MK8, SM3DW AND Xenoblade thrown in for free?
Bunch of unrealistic, tight-arsed trolls.
Regarding the above mentioned 'abysmal software release schedule', I assume this is aimed at people who already own a WiiU AND have played ALL its AAA games to completion - however impossible that is with the likes of Splatoon, Mario Maker, etc, etc.
I bought a WiiU at launch AND have a strong library of games yet I still feel I've barely scratched the surface. Sometimes it's like people can't see the wood for the trees...
NO. I don't understand this argument. It is what it is, and what it was always supposed to be - a massive/sprawling JRPG. If you find it too big my advice would be its not for you, and that numerous other games are available at your disposal. I would however advice you stick with it. This is a game from time gone by, with little to no 'hand holding', but your rewards being a rich game filled with detail and adventure.
Again, rubbish. Resolution bump aside - which can often highlight more sins than disguise, emulators AND roms almost always run with bugs and niggles. It's less complicated, wiser and simply the right thing to do to play games EXACTLY as intended, not like some resolution/graphical troll.
I always expect from Nintendo. 9 times out of 10 I normally get. What's surprising about that is nobody (for me) continually raises the bar like Nintendo, only to raise it again the following gen. Astonishing game design.
I cant believe people are finding reason to complain with this announcement - of sorts. Arguably (easily) one of the finest games, not only of last gen or last 10 years even, but of ALL TIME. Dont take my word for it, head over to ANY review of said game. SD or not will NEVER dilute the experience of this game. A true classic.
Better yet, BUY the bloody hardware and games, instead of dicking around with patchy emulators and broken roms like some pirate. Mark my words, using and emulator and rom will NEVER be comparable to playing ANY game on its original hardware. SUPPORT great developers and/or games.
3rd part support is chav fodder. Yes, it brings sales - but at what price?
'Mature' you say. That would be guns, violence at bad language - all ironically aimed at the adolescent.
It's too easy to say 'well'.
MORE 1st party exclusives!? Exactly what Nintendo has in abundance.
Like the marketing remark. What exactly is 'right'? The WiiU is priced accordingly. If the chavs choose to be taken in by sh...
The Wii was 'weak', sold by the boatload. The Dreamcast was 'powerful', it flopped - sales. As for its name...give me a break! You place far too much emphasis on it.
A golden age of gaming. Gameplay was always King.
A video feature!? Lazy, lazy 'journalism'. Join IGN...
That would be the bomb! Ever since its release I have been deliberating buying an XB1 just for this game alone. I haven't of course, but that just proves to me this game/s appeal. Please, make bringing it to the WiiU happen.
Agreed. I dont see any reason a Mother/Earthbound collection wouldn't be gratefully received.
I can only comment on my own experiences. I own WiiU, PS4 and a modest PC. For me (this year) it ranks WiiU, PC then PS4. Don't get me wrong, both PC and PS4 have had strong moments where each was getting more screen time, but overall the WiiU brought a smile to my face and lifted my jaded spirit that much more.
I'm surprised at EA - via Battlefront - is shelling (pun intended) a shell of a game in which DLC after DLC bombards the player...NOT. Let's be square, EA is synonymous with EXACTLY this sype of tactic. And people i.e trolls STILL stick it to Nintendo...
It ONLY matters when you start putting games under a microscope and/or side by side. A good example is the WiiU. For many a self-proclaimed 'hardcore' gamer the WiiU is 'underpowered', but, play its games on any modern HD TV and they both look and run exceptional.
Who honestly can play SM3DW (for example) and tell me it doesn't belong in this gens console race? Even if Nintendo is following a different path than its 'rivsls'.
Never stood a chance. Being both a niche(ish) product and/or an exclusive put it miles away from the vote. A Game of the Year generally is a title which appeals to the plebs, the chavs and adolescents. MGSV or Xenoblade imho should have been tied winners.
Great. Thanks for answering.
Unique and different'.
Good, I'm all for that - having purchased both Wii and WiiU, and every other Nintendo console sans NES. I fear however the self-proclaimed 'hardcore' don't want unique and/or different, rather wanting Nintendo to simply copy what both Sony and Microsoft are doing.
Sad really that people aren't happy with their own choice of console until 'rival' developers are falling in line.
I can give you a dozen or more absolutely must own games - X not included. All these articles do is make the WiiU look/sound like it is a 1 or 2 game system - when in fact it is a great deal more. No more apologising for said system not possessing so much chav fodder.
