@2pacalypsenow
I don't know what's worse, the fact you made that comment - regarding extortion - or that you have 9 'agrees'. Flippant, unfounded comments in the face of a conviction based on evidence and interviews. You people...
So, just brush over the rape conviction in the name of 'fun'? Skewered priorities!
A convicted rapist!? An insult to his victim perhaps?
Its true. I mean, its the Dreamcast all over again - as was arguably the Gamecube. No love from the mainstream, only until the damn things disappear do the hipsters come out the woodwork and start pronouncing their love for said system and/or games. ME, personally I dont care (too much), since Ive enough confidence in what I like and what I dont to be swayed by heavy marketing.
Nintendo's Wii U. A solid system with a great library of games - retail, Indie AND Virtual Cons...
Sorry, but, the Wii U not selling massively has NOTHING to do with marketing, games, Gamepad, etc, etc...its TRENDS, pure and simple. The average adolescent (these days) wants what Sony and or Microsoft is peddling - COD, chav fodder and the like. More fool them.
@DigitalRaptor
That you have to show a side by side to illustrate my point. The video proves exactly what I was saying...the difference IS negligible. All's I was pointing out was if you watch the video yourself you would struggle to explain to anybody which is running on a 'retro' machine and which is running on a 'cutting edge' console'.
I've already done so - back on initial release. Thanks.
Yes, it looks better (arguably) on PS4/XB1, but the difference negligible. Stick to the Gamecube. Far, far better controller.
Let's be honest, this and many 'remakes' are little more than nostalgia kicks - most have dated terribly. The majority which will buy RE:0 HD will barely scratch the surface, fickle mob Sony and Microsoft fans are in general.
For reasons of exclusivity, that's why.
This is (another) game which really should have remained exclusive to Nintendo.
60 frames - for a game of its type!? 30 frames wasted.
I'm talking - as a European Wii U owner - will this be the 'optimised' NTSC version or the slightly gimped (comparison-wise) PAL version?
Does THAT explain it better!?
Sorry to be the one to ask the inevitable, but...is this the 60hz version?
If - and I imagine you are - referring to Wii Motion Plus the I can't agree. Motion Controls via the Wii allowed for some truly great games/experiences last gen - Skyward Sword being (for me) a masterpiece. Personally I would have loved Nintendo to continue with the Wii Motion Plus. I feel this particular control method had a lot more mileage.
Both Splatoon and Mario Maker are NOT overrated. Both are fantastic and fresh additions to each genre AND coupled with tons of replay value - both constantly being flourished with added extras/additions.
Limited by the WiiU's power"? First, the one and only real 'demo' we have seen from Zelda U was in its very early stages - and even that seemed to me good. Second, this is an argument which could be leveled at any game ever. Thing is, Nintendo always work within the 'constraints' of a console, NOT outside it - like some amateur developer.
Look what we got with Skyward Sword for the most recent example. The Wii, a console constantly accused of bring ...
First, I'm not arrogant - far from it. Secondly, I dont 'assume' - just make my point.
Your last sentence, you suggest Treasure Tracker like it is a laughable alternative to Fifa, both in genre and quality. I see things differently. Treasure Tracker may just be the tonic those *twits* need...unlikely as it is, since the majority who play Fifa follow trends, not what is good or not - as the case may be.
It (for me) is all to do with trends. Nintend...
Gamers- if that's what you want to call them - will never, never learn. Let's for arguments sake say very few WiiU games will be releasing in between now and when the NX launches. This still leaves the WiiU with a solid library of games, a dozen or so (in my opinion) AAA classics.
Now, unless you have NOTHING outside videogames - such as partner, family, friends, job and other outside interests - I would argue you would be hard pressed to get through most of those gre...
