Taking different Time-Zones in account? The game is releasing early - a few hours only up to this point, but nevertheless it is releasing "early".
I solely game on the pc, but I have to agree. Most of the time they are really pretentious. However - Consoles introduce a whole new kind of douches to the gaming universe.
But you do know that there is no competitive multiplayer? It is not about playing against each other in a running around and shooting stuff game but in a puzzle game - it is more about actually solving the puzzles, you can do that with a controller, don't you? I played Portal with a XBox-Controller attached to my rig, worked like a charm (to be fair - I played this game with m/kb first). Do you really have to beat on consoles just because of the pure reason that they're consoles?
Valve already stated that it is the best game they ever made up to this point - coming from the developer of freaking Half-Life/2/Ep. 1/Ep. 2 I think we can expect a phenomenal experience.
Say what?
Well - that is just untrue. They are not going to "improve" BF:BC2 because the BC-Series is seen as a Spin-Off by Dice. You see - they developed them especially with the consoles and really fast paced action in mind. BF3 will be bigger - but that also means that the pacing slows a little bit down (which is a good thing in the BF-Universe).
The focus of the BC-Series is just another one as in the original BF-Series.
Which is not even true... there is no such thing... How would a file-system help you store more data? Does the data become somehow less when you use another way to store them?
I only own a PC but I am generally very jellous on those Sony-Exclusives - that would be the only reason for me to buy a console though.
No - that is not really true. GTAIV was horrible on the PC, it had a lot of (proven) memory-leaks and tons of other issues. A lot of rigs while really powerfull and high-end-system had a hard time with GTA IV.
It was a shitty port, there is just nothing you can say against that.
And on a side note:
Too many options? Did you ever play a PC-Game before? I had a ton of games with way more options then that. Those settings are still "normal" (of cours...
Well... to call Anon "gay", "scawny little geeks" may be justified, but what exactly do you call Sony in this situation? Holy?
Sony is the fucktard in this case. Sony is the one who screwed up. Big time. And instead of realising this, maybe apologize for this or even ignore it, they go ahead and sue everything connected to the "hack" GeoHotz provided. This is downright disgusting and has nothing to do with "security" whatsoever but is a...
That still doesn't answer the question: Who is going to regulate such things? Who is the authority in the internet?
Generally it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever as IPs are currently matched to valid ids (since you have to actually live somewhere to which the ISP can deliver) anyways. Most likely your ISP has a huge chunk of data somewhere which indicates what IP was used by whom. This of course only to some point in the past, but generally this is already the case....
That would be the US as the US does not have a enforced rating system for video-games in place. Generally: A 13yr old kid can go ahead and buy a M-Rated title. There is no legal responsibility for the store to actually check the ID.
I don't own any console and I'm a PC-Only gamer - nevertheless: The PS3 has some great games to offer - especially is you want to enjoy them on a TV, like God of War, Uncharted and Killzone. I really want to play those games, but I surely do not want to own a PS3...
How is Portal 2 any different? Just go ahead and aks Newell: Portal is still aimed at the PC-Market - Valve is veeeeery loyal to the PC-Platform. The probability that Portal 2 will flop is around 0,00* % - seeing the past of Valve (L4D2 was a great game, totally lived up to the hype, Half-Life 2 (Episode 1 + 2 as well), Team Fortress 2...)
to make sure you could ask the Steam-Support, generally they are pretty fast with responses.
Absolutely true - I think Rocksteady already made clear that they won't launch a superman-title, because he is simply too overpowered. It may work for storylines for both - movie/tv and cartoons/books - but I don't think this would work as a game, because you can literally destroy everything with a flunk of your eye.
Spiderman would be cool to do, but I think that The Green Lantern could make an awesome game.
But the Batman-Universum is simply the gr...
Ah - yes, I kinda get that point, so I maybe got the first post wrong. To say that the sheer act of the homosexuality is gross to you, is okay (as I pointed out before) - but it is another thing if you say "homosexuality is gross", because you are very well implying that every single homosexual being is gross because of being homosexual. This makes no sense in my head - thus I reacted this way.
One way or another: It is a fact that the homosexual community is facin...
Well - to say homosexuality is gross is quite intolerant and offensive.
And you know...to watch two men kissing and getting disgusted by it, is fine with me. But keep it to yourself - otherwise it is intolerant. Why that might be? Because you simply shouldn't care, get over it and move on. The problem is people like you, running around and telling the whole world how gross and disgusting and wrong homosexuality is - is it even of your buisness? Just let them do what they ...
Well... Comparing Portal to Tetris just isn't right - it is a LOT more then puzzling what you do.
Everyone his own of course, but the comparasion you are making is just wrong (and stupid).
