I'm sure you are upset. B/c with the exception of Lair... each game you named is an awesome title you'll never have the chance to play. And yet we get access to nearly every awesome game you'll have access to this holiday plus more! Great time to own a PS3!

Yea, I believe the figures are about right. PS2 has a larger install base but the 360 has been selling more games as of late.
And since that podcast it has been announced that there has NOT been any development on the 360 at all... so really nothing to suggest that it could be done.
I think the game could still be done on the 360 but it would not be as good... perhaps even graphically toned down.
Actually, Disgaea & Disgaea 2 are larger in scale... PS2 games. The argument for a larger format doesn't equate to longer games, etc.... but it does effect the content. Just as the graphical fortitude of the Disgaea games have never been their strengths.
And just as fanboys once tried using Oblivion as an excuse to why blu ray was not needed. Unfortunately, all they proved is that dvd can still be used if you don't mind the graphical shortcomings and glitches.

There aren't many games that load faster on 360, if any. Oblivion for instance loads much faster on PS3. But the bigger question is... who the hell cares?! Load times haven't been that serious an issue for either console this gen... most devs are continuously streaming levels.
Really, b/c Heavenly Sword doesn't include that much CGI... the environments & sound in HS appear to be of much higher quality than ME so far, and that's the difference. In fact, textures in HS seem to be better than ME. ME uses a gorgeous artistic design and color palette to it's advantage but doesn't push that much graphical muscle. Even going back to KOTOR, design has always been greater than gfx for this team.
#1 Microsoft is only the publisher on the first title and WILL NOT be the publisher on future titles.... EA now owns publishing rights to ALL future Bioware games. Yes, it sucks but it's a fact.
#2 Microsoft has not yet bought any rights to the next two installments of ME but they are in talks with both EA and Bioware... so we'll see what happens. Bioware themselves admitted that they'd intended for the trilogy to be exclusive to the 360 but now will have to see what the future...
Just wait til you guys play the game and then try comparing the environments and sound to games like Heavenly Sword and Uncharted.
In EVERY vid shown of Mass Effect we've already seen that the environments are pretty bland... even on the ship. The graphics are gorgeous but there's not a lot of detail... and that's the difference.
Not saying it's a bad thing... for a game with as many worlds to explore, it would have taken MUCH longer for them to fill each one up ...
Well, regardless of what you say... there's simply no denying that blu ray sells are stomping hd-dvd WORLDWIDE despite having sold less standalone players. And fact is greater than your opinion.
Perhaps you have not noticed that it is most of the int'l video associations and retail chains that are declaring hd-dvd a sinking ship. HD-DVD sales worldwide have been pretty dismal and I doubt we will see it around for too much longer.
I'm no 360 fan... but those two actually made sense to me. European ads seem to be a little crazy to me anyway. They were boring but at least they made sense.
The Sony ads over here are awesome... but I think they still have weird ones airing in Europe.... can anyone confirm? (the only Sony ads I know of for Europe are the This is Living ads... do they have regular ads?)

Yea, this is definitely a must have game for me... there are so many games I want this month. Still need to get R&C. I want COD4 and Assassin's Creed too. But I can really only afford two games this month, maybe three. This one is for sure... I'll probably wait a month or two for COD4 and get the other two this month as well.

Mass Effect gfx don't suck but they aren't as amazing anymore after seeing so many of these other games. The character models are pretty excellent and the use of color looks good, but all of the environments I've seen so far are pretty bland. I honestly don't think we're going to see much better looking games on the 360, it's maxed out. Games still look good but will likely never match the qulaity of MGS4 or KZ2.
Video playback is cool but hardly makes a game good/bad. Doesn't hurt to have it but it gets pretty old after the first week or so using it.
Anyway, this game looks way better than Halo 3 graphically. And more importantly the gameplay is actually something new. Besides, if we're always going to bring up other games to troll threads... UT3 crushes Halo 3 in EVERY aspect, period. And 360 gamers won't know that joy for a long time to come.
No the world does not revolve around the parts of the world where the PS3 does well.... But seriously, it DOES include those parts as well. Especially when you consider that OVER 50% of the business for most consoles and handhelds come from outside of the U.S... EXCEPT for the xbox brand which does not fair as well outside of the U.S.

They did not get dev kits for the PS3 until a year LATER than they did with the 360 you moron. So they've had a year LESS time with the PS3. Don't be so stupid.
Yea, this game is going to be FREAKINNNN SWEEEET!!! I'm just about to go through the demo again for a second time. It's simply the most impressive action game I've played so far... the graphics are EXTREMELY top notch and the gameplay is as solid as it gets.
Like others have said, I was VERY surprised at how smart the AI is... and the game was just fun to play the whole way through. Between guns, grenades, and melee... the action had a perfect balance. And the platforming eleme...
